The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division III Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 6. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Jace Riley Day, Goalie, Sr., Montclair, N.J. (Muhlenberg). 19 saves, 70.4 save percentage, 8.00 goals against average. Riley Day made 19 saves while allowing only eight goals in the Mules' 12-8 win at #17 Washington College. Day made 11 of his saves in the second half, when the Mules were outshot by a 28-18 margin. In the fourth quarter, which started with Muhlenberg clinging to an 8-7 lead, Day stopped six shots while allowing just one goal, with five of the saves coming on potential game-tying shots.
- John Foster, Defense, Sr., Ada, Mich. (Hope). 11 ground balls, 7 caused turnovers. Foster locked up his matchups, ran the field and created turnovers in two Hope wins, recording 11 ground balls and causing seven turnovers. He went for four GBs and five CTs in a 14-7 win over Transylvania, then led all players with seven ground balls to go with two caused turnovers in a victory over Kalamazoo.
- Drew Garrison, Defense, Jr., Columbus, Ohio (Calvin). 6 ground balls, 6 caused turnovers. Garrison recorded six ground balls and six caused turnovers in five quarters of action over two Calvin wins. On Wednesday, he had five ground balls and four caused turnovers, leading to meaningful possessions late in the game to help seal an 8-7 victory over Trine. Then, on Saturday, he only played the first quarter and had one ground ball and two caused turnovers in a blowout win over Alma.
- Reid Mather, Faceoff Specialist, So., Avon, Conn. (St. Lawrence). 90.0 percent faceoff percentage (27 of 30), 19 ground balls. Mather dominated the faceoff X, going 27-for-30 on the week with 19 ground balls to lead #15 St. Lawrence to a week sweep over SUNY Potsdam and RPI. After winning three draws in limited action against Potsdam, he won 24-of-26 attempts with 18 ground balls in a 15-10 win over Rensselaer on Saturday.
- Colin Beatty, Defensive Midfield, Sr., Summit, N.J. (Washington & Lee). 6 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers, 1 goal. Beatty paced the defensive efforts for #19 Washington & Lee in a pair of ODAC wins last week, totaling four caused turnovers, six ground balls and a goal. He had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 20-8 win at Bridgewater, before he scooped up four ground balls, caused two more turnovers and scored once against Hampden-Sydney.
- Lane Edinger, Midfield, Sr., Tully, N.Y. (St. John Fisher). 7 goals, 3 assists, 5 ground balls. Edinger piled up 10 points on seven goals and three assists as #11 St. John Fisher beat Utica and Alfred last week. Edinger tallied a career-high six points in the Cardinals' 18-10 victory over Utica on Wednesday, scoring four goals and adding two assists. He had four points on three goals and an assist in a 20-3 win over Alfred on Saturday.
- Nick Coffaro, Attack, Jr., Franklin Lakes, N.J. (Moravian). 4 goals, 4 assists, 6 ground balls, 1 caused turnover. Coffaro played a role in eight of Moravian’s 10 goals in a 10-8 come-from-behind win over Susquehanna, scoring four goals with four assists to go with six ground balls. He scored on four of seven shots on goal and also added a caused turnover.
- Matt Farrington, Attack, Sr., Collegeville, Pa. (Nazareth). 6 goals, 17 assists, 4 ground balls, 2 caused turnovers. Farrington had 23 points in two games last week, recording 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in a win over SUNY Poly and adding three goals and seven helpers for 10 points in another lopsided victory over Hartwick.
- Kyle Holmes, Attack, Sr., Bridgewater, N.J. (Scranton). 9 goals, 2 assists, 3 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers. Holmes set Scranton’s single-game goals record by scoring nine times in the first half of a win at Juniata, while also adding two assists for 11 points.
- Bennett Trout, Attack/Midfield, Sr., Pickerington, Ohio (Baldwin Wallace). 5 goals, 4 assists, 3 ground balls. Trout led the Yellow Jackets to a 19-4 road win over Muskingum with a season-best nine points (five goals, four assists).
