The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division II Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 6. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Brendan Boschi, Belmont Abbey (Gr., Litchfield, N.H.) *Boschi tallied eight goals and 11 points in just three quarters of a 25-7 win at Emmanuel… both of the numbers were season-highs.
- Michael Durnin, Adelphi (Jr., Massapequa, N.Y.) *Durnin was the team's point leader as No. 1 Adelphi took down No. 2 Saint Anselm in overtime. He netted five goals on six shots and was responsible for two helpers as well. His fourth-quarter goal with 3:47 left in regulation was the equalizer that ultimately sent the game into an extra period.
- Peyton Turner, Catawba (Sr., Comelius, N.C.) *Turner led the Catawba offense with 15 points this week as they beat two conference opponents.
- Jacob Czyz, Florida Southern (Sr., Baldwinville, N.Y.) *Czyz dominated faceoffs, winning 20 of 24, and added a goal for Florida Southern. He scooped up a match-high 12 ground balls. He currently leads the NCAA in groundballs per game and is second in face-off winning percentage.
- Thomas Kofod, Molloy (Sr., Seaford, N.Y.) *Kofod became the program's career caused turnover record holder (112), forcing three against Post and 5 against D'Youville. On the week, the senior had five or more ground balls and three or more caused turnovers in each game.
- Boomer Staunton, Assumption (So., Bloomfield, Conn.) *In two games this week, Staunton racked up eight goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for Assumption. At Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, he scored five goals and added one assist in the 16-7 win in Rindge. Against No. 20 Saint Michael's, he tallied three goals and one assist in the 11-10 thriller. He scored both the game-tying goal and the game-winning goal for the Greyhounds.
- Brayden Amett, Indianapolis (Sr., Hartland, Wisc.) *Amett had a game-high seven ground balls at close defense while also causing two turnovers against nationally ranked Lewis.
- Collin Schuster, Montevallo (Sr., Smyrna, Ga.) *Schuster led Montevallo's defensive effort in a decisive 24-10 win over in-state rival Alabama Huntsville. He caused 5 turnovers and picked up 2 ground balls in the win.
- Declan Turner, Assumption (Sr., Sagamore Beach, Mass.) *Turner had a strong week on the defensive end for Assumption, as the Greyhounds went 2-0. Against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, he had one caused turnover and two ground balls in the 16-7 win over the Ravens, while also headlining a defense that allowed just two goals in the second half. Turner capped off the week with four caused turnovers and three ground balls in the Hounds' 11-10 win over No. 20 Saint Michael's.
- Jax Francisco, Florida Tech (Sr., Westminster, Md.) *In two top-20 wins, Francisco held both teams under double-digit goals. Against No. 17 Rollins, he notch ed 20 saves and only allowed 6 goals. Against, No. 14 Saint Leo, he saved 11 and only allowed 8 goals.
