The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division II Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 27. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
1. Luke Bowen, Tusculum (Jr., Edmonton, Alberta) Bowen recorded four goals and had six assists, as the Pioneers finished off the regular season with a 21-9 win at Emory & Henry.
2. Cole Hunsberger, Mercy (So., Waterloo, Ontario) Hunsberger had a team-high 13 points on six goals and a team-high seven assists to go with six ground balls as Mercy went 2-0 on the week. The sophomore opened the week recording a gamehigh and career-high nine points on five goals and four assists to go with four ground balls in the win over Bridgeport on Wednesday. Hunsberger ended the week with a goal and three assists to go with two ground balls in the win over D'Youville on Saturday.
3. Noah Simpson, Holy Family (So., Oshawa, Ontario) In two games this week, Simpson recorded eight goals and five assists. He also scored the gamewinning goal at Post University in the First Round of the CACC Tournament, the first playoff win in program history.
4. Marvin Johnson Jr., Barton (So., Houston, Texas) In three games this week, Johnson recorded five goals, one assist, and ten ground balls, as the Bulldogs ran the table to win the Conference Carolinas Championship. In the championship game against Lees-McRae, he scored two goals, caused turnovers, and collected four ground balls.
5. Boomer Staunton, Assumption (So., Bloomfield, Conn.) Staunton was a key factor in Assumption's 10-9 overtime win over Saint Michael's in the NE10 First Round. He scored three goals and added two assists, including assisting the game-winning goal.
6. Connor Stack, Assumption (Jr., Bourne, Mass.)
7. Jake Cloutier, CUI (Sr., Simi Valley, Calif.) Cloutier played a key role in CUI winning the RMAC Tournament and six straight contests. This week, he recorded six ground balls and caused one turnover in the championship game against Westminster (Utah).
8. Zach Kashubara, Barton (Sr., Greensboro, N.C) Kashubara has been the top defender for the Bulldogs all season, and this carried over to the Conference Carolinas Playoffs. In three games, he had six ground balls to help lead the Bulldogs to their second title in program history.
9. Steve Ulrichs, Florida Tech (Sr., Richmond, Va.) Ulrichs was a key part of the defense for the Panthers, as he caused six turnovers against Saint Leo in the SSC Semifinals. Ulrichs added eight ground balls for the tournament.
10. Shane Corcoran, Assumption (So., East Sandwich, Mass. Corcoran led Assumption to their second NE10 Playoff win in program history, as they took down No. 20 Saint Michael's College 10-9 in overtime, where he made 15 saves. This was the sixth time this season that he has had 10+ saves, while allowing under 10 goals.
