The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division III Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 13. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Andrew Almquist, Goalie, So., Wakefield, Mass. (Babson). 9 saves, 81.8 save percentage, 2.00 goals against average. Almquist continued his stellar play by stopping nine of 11 shots over the first three quarters for a .818 save percentage in #5 Babson’s 16-2 win over Emerson. He made seven of his nine saves in the opening half Babson held the Lions off the scoreboard for a span of more than 30 minutes from late in the first quarter until the final 46 seconds of the third.
- Ty Cougler, Defense, Jr., Dover, N.H. (Keene State). 16 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, 3 goals. Cougler contributed on both sides of the field as he scored three goals while collecting 16 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers. He scored his first with a goal 18 seconds into the second half against Western Connecticut and added game-highs of nine GBs and six CTs, and followed it up with a pair of goals, a team-high 7 GBs and a game-high 4 CTs in the Owls' win over Plymouth State.
- Brody Smith, Defense, Jr., Rehoboth Beach, Del. (SUNY Maritime). 8 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, 1 goal. Smith recorded eight ground balls and caused 10 turnovers in two SUNY Maritime wins last week. He had five GBs, six CTs and scored a goal in a 19-3 win over Mount St. Mary to start the week, then held Merchant Marine’s top scorer to one goal while shipping in three ground balls and four caused turnovers in a 13-11 victory.
- Tommy LeBlanc, Defensive Midfield, Sr., Grand Blanc, Mich. (Franciscan). 13 ground balls, 8 caused turnovers, 3 goals, 2 assists. LeBlanc was all over the field in Franciscan’s win over Bethany, grabbing nine ground balls, causing seven turnovers, while also recording five points on three goals and two assists. He added four GBs and a caused turnover earlier in the week against Westminster.
- Blake Malamphy, Faceoff Specialist, Sr., Annapolis, Md. (Salisbury). 91.7 percent faceoff percentage (22 of 24), 18 ground balls, 1 goal. Malamphy went 22-for-24 at the dot with 18 ground balls and also scored a goal in #7 Salisbury’s 28-8 win over Kean.
- Owen Giorgio, Long-Stick Midfield, Jr., East Greenwich, R.I. (Husson). 2 goals, 2 assists, 11 ground balls, 2 caused turnovers. Giorgio was essential for Husson on both ends of the field in its 12-9 comeback victory over SUNY Delhi on Saturday, tallying 11 ground balls and two caused turnovers on defense for the Eagles, while adding two goals and two assists on offense.
- Carson Kraus, Midfield, So., Garden City, N.Y. (Hamilton). 9 goals, 1 assist, 6 ground balls, 1 caused turnover. Kraus led Hamilton to a pair of NESCAC wins with nine goals and an assist. He had two goals and a helper in a 10-9 comeback victory at Williams, scoring the game-winner with 20.6 seconds left to complete a five-goal fourth-quarter comeback. He scored a career-high seven goals in an 18-13 triumph at Trinity as well.
- Colin August, Attack, Sr., Garrison, N.Y. (Hartwick). 12 goals, 9 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers. August scored 12 goals to lift Hartwick to their first two conference wins. He opened the week with a five-goal performance against Russell Sage, then poured in seven goals on eight shots on goal, adding seven grounders and four caused turnovers in a triumph over Alfred.
- Jack Tenaglia, Attack, So., Oradell, N.J. (Stevens). 2 goals, 16 assists, 6 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers. Tenaglia record 18 points (2 goals, 16 assists) with 6 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers in 2-0 week for #12 Stevens. He dished out a school-record 11 assists while adding a goal and five ground balls in a win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday, after scoring a goal and adding five assists with two caused turnovers and a ground ball in a MAC Freedom win over FDU-Florham on Wednesday.
- Nick Uzakewicz, Attack, So., Hauppauge, N.Y (SUNY Maritime). 2 goals, 14 assists, 2 ground balls, 1 caused turnover. Uzakewicz went for a goal and eight assists in a 13-11 win for SUNY Maritime over Merchant Marine, scoring or assisting on the team’s final four goals to build up a lead. He started the week with a goal and six helpers in a victory over Mount St. Mary.
