2025 USILA Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week – Division III – Week of March 3

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2025 Division III Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on Wednesday, March 5. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:
USILA D3 Team of the Week (Week 4)
 
1. Joseph Perry, Goalie, Sr., Barrington, R.I. (RPI). 11 goals against, .677 save percentage, 8 ground balls, 1 caused turnover, 2 goals scored. Perry led #6 RPI to two wins on the week, allowing just 11 goals against and scoring two. He scored twice and allowed only four with nine saves in a 9-4 win over Cortland, then picked up six ground balls and caused a turnover while making 12 saves in a 13-7 victory over Muhlenberg.

2. Jack Bungart, Defense, Jr., Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (Kalamazoo). 12 ground balls, 8 caused turnovers. Bungart played a key role in the ride and clear game as Kalamazoo earned two wins last week. He had a huge game in a 12-9 victory over Aurora with 10 ground balls and five caused turnovers, then added two grounders and caused three turnovers in an 11-6 victory over Illinois Tech.

3. Mark Davison, Defense, Sr., Vienna, Va. (Christopher Newport). 4 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers, 2 goals. Davison made an impact on both ends of the field in two wins for #5 Christopher Newport. During a 14-13 (2OT) win against Grove City, he scored a third-quarter goal and caused a pair of turnovers, including a crucial strip with less than six minutes left in regulation to help the Captains force overtime. Just 24 hours later, he had two more takeaways and three ground balls to go with another goal during a 17-7 win over Scranton.

4. Miles Schmidt, Faceoff Specialist, So, Seattle, Wash. (Bates). 88.9 faceoff percentage (32 of 36), 17 ground balls, 1 goal, 1 assist. Schmidt dominated in a 2-0 week for Bates. He led the way in an 18-4 win at Emerson by going 12 for 13 at the face-off with five ground balls and an assist, then helped Bates earn its first NESCAC win since 2022 in a 14-8 victory over Hamilton, scoring off the opening face-off and going on to win 20 of 23 draws with 12 ground balls.

5. Brice Bromwell, Midfield, Sr., Woolford, Md. (Salisbury). 4 goals, 3 assists, 1 ground ball. Bromwell logged seven points on four goals and three assists in an 18-13 win for #3 Salisbury on the road at #17 Lynchburg, including two goals and two assists during a 6-0 run at the start of the third quarter that helped to put the game away.

6. Charlie Snyder, Midfield, Sr., Mount Prospect, Ill. (North Central). 12 goals, 1 assist, 2 ground balls. Snyder had a big week in the midfield in two North Central wins, recording five goals in a 16-8 victory over Dubuque and adding seven goals and an assist to help beat Concordia Wisconsin, 19-12.

7. Patrick Carey, Long-Stick Midfield, Gr., North Andover, Mass. (UMass Boston). 3 goals, 16 ground balls, 6 caused turnovers. In a 2-0 week for UMass Boston, Carey scored three goals on three shots, scooped nine ground balls and caused two turnovers in a 12-7 win over Clark, and then caused four turnovers while controlling seven ground balls in a close 7-5 win over Hartford.

8. Charlie Johnson, Attack, So., Wilton, Conn. (Gettysburg). 7 goals, 1 assist, 5 ground balls. Johnson led #11 Gettysburg to a 15-6 win at #19 Stevenson with a career-high seven goals, including six of the team’s first 11 tallies, and also added an assist and five ground balls.

9. Tommy Quinson, Attack, Sr., Rye Brook, N.Y. (Denison). 5 goals, 4 assists, 4 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers. Quinson led Denison to a pair of big wins on the week. He scored three goals with three assists and two ground balls in a 19-9 win over Baldwin Wallace, then added a pair of goals, an assist, two grounders and three caused turnovers in a 14-12 victory over #4 Washington & Lee.

10. Kevin Tierney, Attack, Gr., Glastonbury, Conn. (Springfield). 6 goals, 2 ground balls. Tierney led the way for Springfield in its 11-10 win over #20 Union with six goals, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter and three of the team’s last four goals after Union tied the score at seven.
