2023 USILA / Blatant Lacrosse Team of the Week – Division II – Week of April 10

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2023 Division II Blatant Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 10. 11 players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Jackson Klewchuk, Midfield, Winnipeg, MB Canada, Jr., Montevallo
Scored 2 goals against in state rival Alabama-Huntsville. Including the overtime game winner.

Mason Chaney, Attack, Huntingtown, Maryland, Sr., Barton
Mason had an 11-point day. 

Eoghan Sweeney, FOGO, Niskayuna, Gr., Saint Rose
Eoghan Sweeney had a dominant complete preformance in a huge 16-9 win against in conference (recieving votes) Saint Michaels going 21-28 from the FO and picking up 11GBs and an assist. 

Sam Balch, Defense, Chicago,  IL, Gr., Florida Tech
Led the defense with 8 FTO, 5 GB, 2 assists. Only individual player all season to record 5 FTO against #8 Tampa.

Luke Goetz, Defense, Plymouth, MN, Sr., Rockhurst
Goetz led Rockhurst with 6 ground balls in 13-8 win over 19th-ranked Lewis.

Antanas Mikuzis, Attack, Chicago, IL, So., Flagler College
Scored 7 goals 1 assist and took us to 3-0 and tied for first in PBC.

Zachary Terry, Attack, Tega Cay, SC, So., Limestone
Scored 6 goals to go with 2 assists in an 18-10 win over Lincoln Memorial. 

Davis McCulley, Attack, Victoria, B.C. Canada, Jr., Belmont Abbey
Scored a career-high seven goals and eight points. 

Danny Riley, Attack, Smithtown, NY, Sr., Wingate
Had four points, including three goals, to go along with four ground balls.

Tommy Umano, Goalie, Seaford, NY, Gr., Mercy
Umano made a career-high-tying 19 saves with just seven goals allowed in Mercy's 9-7 win over No. 12 Frostburg State on Friday.
