The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2023 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 7. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Eric George | Attack | Stony Plain, Alberta | Jr. | Chowan
Surpassed 100 career goals
- Joey Pezzimenti | Attack | Victor, N.Y. | Jr. | Le Moyne
He tallied a career-high six goals, including three in the first 16 minutes as the Dolphins built an 8-1 lead, to lead second-ranked Le Moyne to a 15-13 victory over seventh-ranked Indianapolis on Sunday.
- Trevor Kennedy | Attack | Coburg, ON | Sr. | Mars Hill
Kennedy led the 14-13 OT loss with 8 points, scoring 5 goals on 11 shots. Kennedy also added 3 assists in the game which was a career high.
- Noah Gibson | Attack | Irondequoit, NY | Fr. | Saint Rose
As a freshman, had 4 Goals 1 Assist vs #10 Saint Anslem. Had 5 Goals and the overtime game-winner after leading a 7-goal 4th quarter deficit vs Post University.
- Dan Zabbia | Attack | Dix Hills, NY | So. | Pace
Scored 11 goals, to go along with one assist three ground balls, and four forced turnovers.
- Justin Gerdvil | Defense | East Northport, NY | Sr. | Mercy
Gerdvil had a goal, an assist, a game-high six caused turnovers with five ground balls in Mercy's 18-15 win over No. 12 Seton Hill on Saturday.
- Kaleb Malyon | Defense | Cornwall, Ontario, Canada | So. | Newberry
Malyon helped Newberry earn a win in its first conference game of the year, corralling seven ground balls and causing three turnovers enroute to a dominant 15-8 win over visiting Lincoln Memorial.
- Mikey Sawulak | Defense | Hamburg, NY | So. | Walsh University
Did not even play whole game, sat him for almost a whole quarter and he still had 12 GBs and 6 CTs in our home opener, held his assignment to 0 points as well.
- John Paulus | FO | Uniontown, Ohio | Jr. | Lenoir-Rhyne
Won 36 of 48 face offs in a pair of wins for No. 6 LR. Grabbed 19 ground balls in the week. After going 14-of-15 against Mars Hill, Paulus won 22-of-33 against No. 18 Belmont Abbey and had 10 ground balls to lead the Bears to their fifth double-digit victory of the season.

Allowed 2 goals in 3 quarters of play against Flagler. Dominated the game in cage and in the clear.
