2023 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division I – Week of March 27

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2023 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 28. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.

- CJ Kirst, A, Cornell
7g, 7p, 11sh vs. Penn / tied career high in goals, leads the nation in goals per game
 
- Logan McGovern, A, North Carolina 
8g, 4a, 12p, 12sh in 2 games / 3g, 4a, 7p, 5sh vs. High Point; 5g, 5p, 7sh vs. Providence, tying his career-high in goals against the Friars
 
- Dylan Pallonetti, A, Stony Brook
6g, 1a, 7p, 11Sh vs. Monmouth / scored 3 of the final 4 goals for SB, including the goal that broke a 12-12 tie and gave Stony Brook the lead for good; has a goal in 37-consecutive games
 
- Dante Trader, SSDM, Maryland
The d-middie had 2 goals, 2 caused turnovers and 2 ground balls in the Terrapins’ 13-10 win over then-No. 5 Penn State
 
- Ben Finlay, D, Princeton
1CT, 1GB vs. Yale / held Yale’s Matt Brandau without a goal for the first time in his career (46 games)
 
- Bobby Van Buren, D, Ohio State
Held Rutgers’ Ross Scott without a goal for the first time since his freshman season (2021) in the Buckeye’s 11-7 win; had 1gb, 1 ct
 
- Alex Pazienza, GK, Sacred Heart 
4GA, 12Sv, 57:17 vs. VMI / fewest goals by VMI since 2021
 
- Cole Brams, FO, Utah
26-33, 78.8, 15GB, 1g, 2a, 3p vs. Detroit Mercy; broke the school record for single-game faceoff wins with 26, the most in the country this year
 
- Jake Naso, FO, Duke
 13-17, 76.5, 10GB vs. Air Force & 15-24, 62.5, 3GB, 1G vs. Saint Joseph’s / bested nation’s top faceoff man, in the Hawks’ Zach Cole
