The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2023 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 21. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
-Jamal White A Springfield, Pa. Junior Bryn Athyn
Had 13 goals, nine assists for an impressive 22 points in two games.
-Craig Wilkie A Wayne, N.J. Sr. Drew
Wilkie poured in nine points on seven goals to lift the Rangers to a 14-8 victory over Neumann in their season opener. He scored four consecutive goals spanning the second and third quarter to give his team some breathing room at 10-5. His seven goals are tied for the fourth-most in team history.
-Ambrose Colliluori A Gilbertsville, Pa. So. Hiram
Scored 14 goals this past week in leading Hiram to a 3 game winning streak. Tied School record for points with 10 over LaRoche.
-Connor Batjer A Riverhead, N.Y. Sr. Kean
Batjer totaled 15 points on eight goals and seven assists in victory over SUNY Poly and Oberlin.
-Angelo Venuto FO Sudbury, Mass. Jr. RPI
Angelo was an unbelievable 25 of 28 against Hamilton College picking up 17 ground balls and an assist. He followed it up with another impressive performance 3 days later against Vassar College winning 12 of 16 and collecting 8 ground balls and a goal.
-Cole Corrigan G Towson, Md. Sr. Washington
Allowed just six while matching his career high in saves with 22 in Washington College's 14-6 win over visiting Mary Washington on Saturday.
-Andrew Cook M Mechanicsville, Va. Sr. Christopher Newport
Andrew Cook posted a team-high 12 points and 10 goals while leading the Captains to victories over No. 1 RIT and No. 7 Dickinson at the Mustang Classic. On Friday in a 15-11 triumph over top-ranked RIT, he posted seven points, including six goals, which equaled the sixth-highest total in school history. Two of his strikes came in the fourth quarter, including the game-winner. On Saturday, he came back with four more goals in a 13-12 triumph over Dickinson. That marked his 27th straight appearance with a goal, matching the longest scoring streak in program history.
-Ben Hutchinson M/A Marblehead, Mass. Jr. St. Lawrence
Hutchinson helped power the No. 10 Saints to a 2-0 sweep at the Mustang Classic with a 14-5 win over No. 8 Lynchburg and a 16-7 win over Bates. He scored four goals in each game, tallied the game winner in both, one man-up goal and picked up three ground balls.
-Ashton Anton M Houston, Texas Sr. The University of the South
Earning a career-best five goals against Greensboro, Ashton Anton was a part of two wins for Sewanee. Playing primarily as a midfielder, Anton totaled 10 points on the week, with seven goals.
-Kyle Adelmann D San Mateo, CA Sr. Tufts
Had a strong week for the Jumbos, as he led Tufts to two ranked wins over No. 7 Lynchburg and No. 17 Stevens. He finished the week with 11 ground balls and five caused turnovers, also adding an assist against Lynchburg.
