2022 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division III – Week of April 4

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 5. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

- Will Robinson – Attack – Benedictine
Set the Benedictine single game record by scoring 12 goals in a conference opening win over Edgewood...Added an assist to match the single game record for points with 13...Also scored and logged two assists in the fog at Carthage
 
- Joe Nutting – Attack – Keene State   
Nutting had two goals and tied a KSC single game record with eight assists in Keene State's 16-2 win over Eastern Conn. State.
 
- Trevor Dzama – Attack – Moravian  
Dzama helped Moravian to a 2-0 record last week, and he led the squad with 16 points on five goals and 11 assists. Dzama also had four ground balls. He started the week with four goals and three assists in a 21-6 victory at Bryn Athyn College, and Dzama then had a goal, eight assists and four ground balls in a 22-9 Landmark Conference win at Juniata College. Dzama's eight assists are tied for the third most in a match in program history and marks the second time in 2022 he has recorded eight assists in a single contest.
 
- Dante Poli – Attack – Stockton
Totaled 19 points in two Stockton wins... Led team in assists and points for the week... Game-high in points in each contest... His 11 points vs. Neumann were one off the school record for points in a game.
 
- Hunter Olsen – Attack – SUNY Canton  
Olsen had a monster game posting game-highs of 11 points, five goals, six assists and three caused turnovers to go with four ground balls in a 23-4 North Atlantic Conference win v. NVU-Lyndon on Saturday. The senior captain set the SUNY Canton men’s lacrosse D-III era program record for career points as he now has 157 career points on 83 goals and 74 assists. That breaks the previous mark of former All-American and NAC Man of the Year Josh Yelvington ’19 who had 156 career points. Olsen's 11 points on Saturday are just two off the high of any player in a single game in NCAA Division III this season.
 
- Luke Geister – Defense – Washington & Jefferson  
Luke Geister registered 15 ground balls and eight caused turnovers in W&J's 15-4 win at Franciscan Saturday. Both totals were single game career highs for Geister. 
 
- Michael Stank – FOGO – Penn College
Stank won 16 of 17 faceoffs in Penn College's 16-10 over Hilbert and scooped up 10 ground balls.
 
- Zac Hanway – Goalie – Christopher Newport
Zac Hanway matched his career-high with 18 saves while guiding No. 4 Christopher Newport to a 15-2 victory over No. 16 Williams on Wednesday at Jennings Family Stadium. His 18 stops equaled the eighth-highest total in program history and the fourth-most against a nationally-ranked foe. He also chipped in with a career-high two takeaways while adding four ground balls. Wednesday's game marked just the sixth time in school history that the Captains held an opponent to two goals or less and the first time they accomplished that feat against a top-20 opponent.
 
- Chris Darmino – LSM – Lynchburg
Darminio collected a career-high 10 ground balls and caused three turnovers in No. 8 Lynchburg's 11-10 loss to Washington and Lee Saturday. His 13 CTs this season lead the team, and he's second on the Hornets with 53 ground balls.
 
- Camden Bowdy– Midfield – Denison
Bowdy finished with 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists) on the week and added six groundballs. He had five points (3 goals, 2 assists) and three groundballs at Grove City on Wednesday, and then finished his week with eight points (5 goals, 3 assists) and three more groundballs during No. 20 Denison's 16-7 win at home over rival Kenyon on Saturday to improve to 2-0 in the NCAC. Bowdy has now recorded a hat trick in four straight games for the Big Red.
