2022 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division II – Week of April 11

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 12. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

- Geraint Shaw – Attack – Flagler College  
Shaw posted a career-high five goals to help guide Flagler to its first road win in program history (17-7) against Shorter.

- Jake Veres – Attack – Pace University  
Veres led the Setters' offense during a 1-1 stretch last week. The New Jersey native totaled nine points on six goals and three assists, in addition to grabbing three ground balls. Veres' top performance came on Sunday with three tallies and three assists in Pace's 13-5 win at Franklin Pierce. 

- Tyler Eames – Attack – Saint Leo
Tyler Eames compiled 12 points (8g, 4a) off 12 shots in two games facing Florida Southern and Embry-Riddle. Eames placed 83-percent of his shots on goal and picked up five ground balls. 

- Giovanni Marino – Attack – Wilmington
Led the Wildcats to a 2-0 week with 12 goals and an assist. Scored 7 goals at Dominican. Scored 5 goals and added an assist against Felician. Had 5 ground balls at Dominican.

- Noah Reed - Defense – Limestone
Forced five caused turnovers in a dominating defensive effort while scooping up four groundballs and scoring a goal.

- Peyton Farley – Defense – Wingate
Had 6 caused turnovers and 7 ground balls to lead #6 Wingate to a win at Newberry.

- Caleb Parker – FOGO – UIndy
Named GLVC Defensive Player of the Week after a 2-0 week for the Hounds with GLVC wins over (RV) Rockhurst and Quincy. Went 16-for-18 in the face off circle. Posted his second perfect game of the season on Saturday, going 12-for-12 against Rockhurst. Moved into second in UIndy’s career face off wins with 219 wins.

- Zak Welsh – Goalie – University of Alabama Huntsville
Zak led the Chargers to a massive in conference win against the University of Montevallo. He posted 17 saves on the day, the last coming with 1 second left on the game clock to secure the victory. With this win, it propels UAH into a tie for first place in the PBC at 2-0. 

- Tallen Smith – Midfield – Georgian Court
Goal and two assists in Wednesday's 17-8 conference win over Caldwell University .... closed week with 11 points (4 G , 7 A) in Saturday's 20-10 CACC victory vs. Felician.

- Tyler Wenck – Midfield – Maryville
Scored a career-high six goals in a GLVC victory over Davenport. Total is tied for the fifth-most in program history. Accounted for the game-winning goal and took just nine shots on the day.
