The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 8. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
-Myles Moffat – Attack – Lenoir-Rhyne
Record three goals on just four shots and finished with four assists, all in the first half against Coker.
-Sam Lindahl – Attack – Rockhurst
Led Hawks with five goals and two assists in 13-6 win over Colorado State-Pueblo.
-Jack Robinson – Attack – Saint Anselm
Handed out a team-best seven assists for nationally-ranked Saint Anselm, who outshot Georgian Court by a commanding 74-19 margin in the team's convincing victory. Finishing with a career-high eight points (1-7=8), no Hawks student-athlete has logged seven assists in a game since recent Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Brian O'Leary '01 against New Haven on May 1, 2000.
-Justin Williams – Attack – Saint Leo J
Earned a career-high eight points netting a career-high five goals and three assists in the Saint Leo 20-8 win over Barton. Williams’ placed 10-of-15 (.667) shots on target to lead the Green and Gold to victory.
-Bobby Padden – Attack – Wingate
The All-American piled up 2 goals & 5 assists to lead #4 Wingate to an 11-10 OT win against #7 Limestone, also had 3 assists in the win against #17 Mount Olive.
-Josh Vetter – Defense – Florida Tech
Recorded 6 caused turnovers and 5 ground balls in No. 20 Florida Tech's 14-6 win over No. 15 Seton Hill. His 6 caused turnovers ties for third most in a game in program history.
-Cam Weeks – FOGO – Anderson
Cam won all 21 faceoffs he took, all in the first half while collecting 19 GBs and an assist in a 24-6 W over Lincoln Memorial.
-Cooper George – FOGO – Maryville Went a perfect 10-for-10 at the faceoff dot in the victory at Shorter. Set a program record for faceoff winning percentage at 1.000. Helped the Saints win a school-record 24 total faceoffs. Picked up eight ground balls in the contest.
-Jackson Downs – Midfield – Chowan
Scored three Goals in 1st half. All goals outside 8 yards. Played significant minutes defensively as a true 2-way.
-Justin Williams – Midfield – Florida Tech
Recorded 5 points on 1 goal, a career-high 4 assists and 2 ground balls in No. 20 Florida Tech's 14-6 win over No. 15 Seton Hill.
