The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 8. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
-Bobby Abshire, Army, Midfield
Had six goals and an assist in two Army wins (Syracuse, Holy Cross). Had four goals and an assist in the 17-13 win over Syracuse.
-Gavin Adler, Cornell, Defense
Held Ohio State’s Jack Myers to one goal on seven shots while adding three ground balls and a CT in 14-11 win. Also helped Cornell to a 15-12 win over Hobart.
-Tyler Bradbury, Utah, Attack
Had four goals and two assists in 16-10 win over Jacksonville. The four goals were a career-high, and the six points were a season-best.
-Shane Carr, Michigan, Goalie
Had 20 saves in an 18-8 win over Delaware. Had 10 saves in the second half, including nine in the fourth quarter alone, while allowing three goals after intermission.
-Chris Gray, North Carolina, Attack
Had six goals and two assists in a 17-16 win over Denver. Scored the game-winner with 1:19 left.
-Devon McLane, Brown, Attack
Had five goals and seven assists in wins over Villanova and Providence. Had four goals and five assists against Villanova in a 15-14 win.
-Connor Shellenberger, Virginia, Attack
Had three goals and five assists in a 19-8 win over Hopkins. The five assists tied a career high and marked his third five-assist game this season.
-Mike Sisselberger, Lehigh, FO
Won 18 of 22 face-offs in an 11-7 win over Navy. Also had a goal and 13 ground balls in the game.
-Andrew Song, Princeton, LSM
Had four caused turnovers and three ground balls in the 10-8 win over Georgetown. Led a defense that set a program record with 17 caused turnovers.
-Luke Wierman, Maryland, FO
Won 18 of 24 face-offs with seven ground balls in an 11-9 win over Notre Dame. Lost the first four face-offs before winning 18 of the final 20.
