2022 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division III – Week of March 28

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 29. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

- Will Byrne – Attack – Bowdoin
Byrne tied Bowdoin's single-game record with 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists) in a Wednesday win at WNEU before scoring two goals and five assists in a win at nationally-ranked Wesleyan Saturday. The Polar Bears are off to their best start (7-0) since 1989. 
 
- Alex Stevens – Attack – Maine Maritime Academy   
Stevens had an impressive week for the Mariners, tallying 16 points on 13 goals and three assists, over just two games. The sophomore tallied a MMA single game program record and career-high 11 goals, including two man-up goals, while also adding two assists and a ground ball in Maine Maritime’s 23-7 win over SUNY Cobleskill. He also scored two goals and tallied an assist to go along with three ground balls in a tough 12-9 loss to SUNY Delhi earlier in the week.
 
- Mac Bredahl – Attack – Tufts  
Bredahl scored 11 goals with four assists in Tufts wins at Lynchburg (21-11) on Tuesday and at Trinity (21-10) on Saturday. He went for seven goals and one assist at Lynchburg, then had four goals and three assists at Trinity. In the NESCAC game, he scored three times during a 9-0 run which turned a 6-4 deficit into a 13-6 advantage. At Lynchburg, his three goals and an assist led a 7-1 third quarter that opened up an 18-10 margin for the Jumbos. He also grabbed three ground balls and caused a turnover during the week.
 
- Carter Watts – Attack – Washington & Jefferson College
Carter Watts posted a career-high 12 points in W&J's 24-2 win over La Roche Wednesday. The junior attack posted a career-high six goals and registered a career-high six assists in W&J's fourth-straight victory. 
 
- Alex Strain – Attack – Washington & Jefferson College  
Alex Strain scored a career-high eight goals in a 24-2 win for W&J over La Roche. Strain finished with nine points and three ground balls as W&J won its fourth-straight game. 
 
- Terrence Haggerty – Attack – Farmingdale State  
In the 22-3 win over Alvernia, Haggerty recorded five goals and four assists for a season-high nine points.
 
- Ryan Doyle – Defense – University of Dubuque
Ryan had 8 gb's and 6 CT's in our game vs NCC, as well as guarding their leading score and holding him to just 1 goal. On Saturday in our win against Edgewood he had 11 gb's and 8 CT's. He is currently 1st on the team in both GB's with 60 and CT's with 38 as a close defenseman. He currently leads the nation in caused turnovers.
 
- Kyle Adelmann – Defense – Tufts
Adelmann continued his outstanding season on defense with nine ground balls and five caused turnovers in #3 Tufts' 21-11 win at #7 Lynchburg on Tuesday, and then eight ground balls with two CT's in a 21-10 NESCAC victory at Trinity on Saturday.
 
- Connor Reed – Goalie – Marywood
Going 2-0 on the week, Reed led Marywood to their best record to start a season since 2015. His 26 saves vs Albright are second to his own record of 29 set earlier this year vs Scranton. In the midweek game vs King's, Reed had 15 saves. 
 
- Marley Angus– Midfield – RIT
Angus led No. 1 RIT with 11 points on four goals and seven assists on 7-of-8 shooting to lead the Tigers to a 2-0 record last week. Angus tallied two goals and four assists to lead RIT to a 16-15 win at No. 5 St. John Fisher, Wednesday. He assisted on Ryan Rosenblum's goal late in the fourth quarter, and Quinn Commandant's game-winning goal with 1:30 to play in regulation. Angus tallied two goals and had three assists in the first half in RIT's 24-13 win over Vassar, Saturday.
