The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 15. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Logan Gaddis – Attack – Anderson
Gaddis set a program record with 8 assists and 10 points in a 20-8 W at Mars Hill.
- Mason Chaney – Attack – Barton College
Mason had another great week with 13pts (9G,4A) 37% Shooting. He also picked up 6GBs.
- Bobby Padden – Attack – Anderson
The All-American had a career-high 7 goals and 9 points as #3 Wingate moved to 6-1 on the season.
- Cam Weeks – FOGO – Anderson
Weeks was 82.8% with 18 GBs and 2 goals in a 20-8 W at Mars Hill.
- William Baxter– Goalie – Limestone
Surrendered a season-low three goals in a 13-3 win over No. 10 Lenoir-Rhyne - posted his third double-digit save performance of the season, making 16 stops, to go with 12 groundballs - his third double-double of the year.
- Michael Ventresca – Midfield – Georgian Court
Seven points (six goals and an assist) in leading Lions' to 19-15 victory over Molloy (Wednesday) ... Georgian Court's first win of the season.
- Sean Tomaszewski – Midfield – Saint Anselm
Graduate student Sean Tomaszewski (Arlington, Mass.) potted a career-high five goals and added two assists for seven points to lead the Saint Anselm offense against Southern New Hampshire, adding two ground balls.
- Thomas Sullivan – Goalie
Made 20 saves and gave up just 6 goals in a win over #12-ranked Queens.
- Jack Kipnes – Defense – Mercy
Kipnes had a game-high three caused turnovers with six ground balls to help lead a Mercy defense that allowed just nine goals in a 15-9 win at No. 17 Bentley on Saturday.
- Kyle Casey – Attack – Pace
Casey led the Setters' offense during their two wins last week. The graduate transfer racked up 14 points on 10 goals and four assists as Pace improved to 3-0 this season. Casey, who also registered two ground balls and two caused turnovers, currently ranks fourth in the NE10 in total points at 19.
