2022 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division I – Week of Feb. 28

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 1. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

- Samuel Cambere, D, Utah 
Had a goal, an assist, four caused turnovers and seven ground balls in a 12-11 win over Marquette. The caused turnovers were one off his school single-game record. 
 
- Zach Cole, FO, Saint Joseph’s 
Won 23 of 27 face-offs with 18 ground balls in a 15-8 win over Providence. Also had a goal in the game.
 
- Aleric Fyock, G, Penn State 
Made 21 saves while allowing just six goals in a 10-6 win over Yale. Made nine saves while allowing one goal in the second half.
 
- Dylan Gergar, A, Penn 
Had six goals in the 14-13 overtime win over Duke. Had two goals in the fourth quarter as Penn rallied from down three to win in OT.
 
- Chris Gray, A, North Carolina 
Had a 9-goal, 5-assist week in wins over Brown and Johns Hopkins. Had seven goals against Hopkins for his fourth career game with six or more. 
 
- Jacob Greiner, A, Jacksonville 
Had back-to-back six-goal games in wins over Denver and Air Force. The six goals were a career-high.
 
- Chayse Ierlan, G, Cornell 
Made 15 saves while allowing five goals in a 9-5 win over Lehigh. Had nine of his saves in the second half while allowing only two goals.
 
- Petey LaSalla, FO, Virginia 
Won 19 of 28 face-offs in a 20-11 win over Syracuse, with a goal and five ground balls. Became UVa’s all-time leader with 623 face-off wins.
 
- Owen McElroy, G, Georgetown 
Had 24 saves while allowing 11 goals in a 16-11 win over Notre Dame for the secone-best single-game total in program history. Made 11 saves in the fourth quarter alone. 
 
- Jack Myers, A, Ohio State 
Had five goals and six assists in a 17-12 win over Harvard. The 11 points were the most by an Ohio State player in a game since 2008.
