The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Ryan Archer, Hobart, Attack – 3G, 3A
Turned in a game-high 6 points (3G, 3A) to lead Hobart to 14-13 victory over 16th-ranked Lehigh. It was Hobart’s first win over a nationally-ranked program since knocking off No. 20 Bryant in 2016.
- Will Bowen, Georgetown, Defense - 4CT, 2GB
Held Preseason First-Team All-American Sam Handley to just one goal (on 9 shots) and a pair of assists in Georgetown’s 10-8 victory over 10th-ranked Penn. Bowen also recorded a team-high 4 caused turnovers.
- Zach Cole, Saint Joseph’s, Faceoff - 38-56 (.679), 22GB / 18-26 vs. Delaware, 20-30 vs. Penn State
Won 67.9 percent of the draws he took (38-56) and picked up 22 ground balls in games against Delaware and Penn State. He opened the week with an 18-for-26 (.577) performance in a one-goal loss to No. 17 Delaware. Followed up with a 20-for-30 (.667) effort, winning 12 of the 15 draws in the second half of a 15-13 win over Penn State.
- Ronan Jacoby, Rutgers, Midfield - 6G, 9Sh
Led Rutgers to a 13-10 victory over No. 12 Army behind a career-high tying 6 goals on 6 shots on goal. A four-year standout at Wesleyan before transferring to Rutgers, he scored 4 of his 6 goals in the first 20 minutes of the contest to give the Scarlet Knights a 7-1 lead.
- CJ Kirst, Cornell, Attack - 4G, 3A
Making his collegiate debut, Kirst recorded a team-high 7 points (4G, 3A) to lead Cornell to 16-8 win over Albany. He scored 2 goals and added an assist to give the Big Red a 5-0 lead midway through the opening quarter.
- Ryan Lanchbury, Richmond, Attack - 4G, 2A
Became Richmond and the Southern Conference’s all-time leading goal scorer (126) following his 4-goal performance in an 18-4 win over Marist. He also dealt out a pair of assists in the win over the Red Foxes to bring his career points total to 221, just 5 shy of the school record held by Teddy Hatfield (2016-19).
- Liam Limoges, Vermont, Attack - 5G, 9Sh
Scored a career-high tying 5 goals (vs. UMass Lowell in 2018) on 9 shots to lead Vermont to a 16-10 victory over Penn State in what was the program’s first win over a current member of the Big Ten since 1986 (Ohio State, 16-7).
- Jack Myers, Ohio State, Attack - 2G, 7A
Turned in a 9-point performance (2G, 7A) in leading unranked Ohio State to 20-8 win over No. 4 North Carolina. The 7 assists are tied for the second most in program history and the most by an Ohio State player since Jesse King dealt out 7 against Delaware on April 6, 2014.
- Henry Vogt, Merrimack, Goalkeeper - 21Sv, 6GA
Anchored a stout defensive effort with a 21-save performance in Merrimack’s 8-6 win over Dartmouth. Made 13 first-half saves and held the Big Green to just a single goal in the first 30 minutes of action. It marked his second-consecutive 20-plus save game after making a career-best 23 stops in a 12-10 loss at Boston University a week ago.
- Logan Wisnauskas, Maryland, Attack - 4G, 1A
Paced No. 1 Maryland with a 5-point performance (4G, 1A) in the Terps’ 14-10 win on the road over ninth-ranked Syracuse. Wisnauskas moved to second on Maryland’s all-time goals scored list (156), while also posting his 100th-career assist. He has tallied a point in all 60 games of his collegiate career.
