The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2022 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Wednesday, Feb. 15. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Dylan Rice – Attack – Christopher Newport
Rice set a new school record with eight goals while matching his own program standard with 10 total points during the squad's 22-5 victory over Roanoke. He also equaled his career-high with four takeaways during the game.
- Jace Conley – Attack – Albion College
Scored 5 goals and 5 assists in a 22-1 rout of Hanover. Became Albion's all-time leader in goals (151 and counting) and eclipsed the 200-career point mark in the same day. A returning All-American got his senior season underway with a 10-point day...not bad
- Kyle Lewis – Attack - University of Lynchburg
Fresh off breaking the ODAC single-season assists record in 2021, Lewis scored a team-best seven points in the sixth-ranked Hornets' 25-1 rout of Ferrum on Saturday.
- Craig Wilkie – Attack – Drew University
Racked up career-highs of six goals and four assists to lift the Rangers to a 17-9 season-opening win over Albright. Tallied three goals and four assists in the second half, when the Rangers outscored the Lions 12-5 to pull away.
- David Burke – Defense – Drew University
Burke made a career-high 11 ground balls to help the Rangers to a 17-9 season-opening win over Albright. A faceoff wing, he helped the Rangers win the battle for possession, as Drew finished 22-for-29 at the X. The Rangers outshot Albright 58-30.
- Michael Kraus – FO - University of Lynchburg
Won 13 of 14 face-off attempts in No. 6 Lynchburg's 25-1 win over Ferrum.
- Dylan Croft – FO – Centre College
Matched program record with 15 GBs, winning 17 of 22 faceoffs in a 17-13 win at Wittenberg. Also scored a goal immediately after winning a faceoff. Claimed 8 of 9 faceoffs in the first quarter.
- Gage Turner – Goalie – Randolph-Macon
Turner allowed just five goals in his collegiate debut and made 16 saves as R-MC defeated Mary Washington for the first time since 2001 and allowed the Eagles to fewer than 10 goals for the first time since 2007.
- Phoenix Hines – LSM – Christopher Newport
Hines led the Captains with five caused turnovers in a 22-5 win over Roanoke. His five takeaways equaled the third-highest total of his career and helped Christopher Newport finish the contest with 31 total caused turnovers, which marked the second-most in program history.
- Brett Gladstone – Midfield – Grove City College
Gladstone had 7 goals and 2 assists Sunday in Grove City's 22-14 win over No. 14 Colorado College. In Saturday's opener at Rhodes, he had a goal and three assists in the Wolverines' 17-8 win
