The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2021 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 6. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
A - Jared Bernhardt, Maryland / vs. Penn State / 5-3=8, 8 Sh, 1CT, broke the Maryland career goals record with his team-high 5 goals (156, previously Matt Rambo with 155), while moving into second on the career points leader board (234) in the Terps' win over #19 Penn State
A - Adam Charalambides, Rutgers / vs. Ohio State / 3-1=4, 9 Sh, with the game even at 8-8, Charalambides scored back-to-back goals in the final four minutes of the game to give Rutgers a 10-9 win over #14 Ohio State
A - Pat Kavanagh, Notre Dame / vs. Syracuse / 4-5=0, 8 sh, 6 GB, tied the program record for points in a game with 9, thanks to a 4-goal, 5-assist performance in the win over #4 Syracuse
A - Keegan Khan, Villanova / vs. Providence / 7-2=9, 13 sh, scored 3 of Villanova's first 4 goals en route to a 7-goal, 2-assist performance in the Wildcats' 13-6 win over Providence
A - Brendan Nichtern, Army / vs. Lehigh / 5-2=7, 11 sh, paced Army with 7 points on a career-best 5 goals and 2 assists in a 13-12 loss to #11 Lehigh ... played a role in 7 of Army's 12 goals, including scoring 4 of its 5 in the opening half and assisting on the fifth
A - Joe Robertson, Duke / vs. North Carolina / 4-3=7, 11 sh, scored the go-ahead goal, as well as the game-winner in Duke's 12-11 win over #2 North Carolina
A - Mike Robinson, Delaware / vs. Fairfield / 7-1=8, 14 sh, 4GB, 1CT, turned in a game-high 8 points on 7 goals and an assist in Delaware's come-from-behind win over Fairfield ... with the Blue Hens trailing 8-5 at the half, he scored 5 of his 7 goals in the third quarter to give Delaware the lead for good
M - Graham Bundy Jr., Georgetown / 6-0=6, the nation's top-scoring midfielder (goals with 24), he turned in a career-high 6 goals in the Hoyas' 20-7 win over St. John's
FO - Mike Sisselberger, Lehigh / vs. Army / 23-27, .852, 14GB, won 23 of 27 faceoffs (both career highs, including 15 of the first 16 draws in the game to play a pivotal role in the Mountain Hawks' win over #7 Army
GK - Kevin Holtby, Hobart / vs. Bryant / 23 Sv, 10 GA, stopped 10 of the 11 shots on goal in the fourth quarter to help lead Hobart to an 11-10 win over Bryant, its first in five trips to Smithfield ... with a career- high 23 saves, it marked the most by a Statesman since March 23, 2010, and the fifth most during Hobart's Div. I era
