2021 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division III – Week of April 26

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2021 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 27. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

- John Allen, Grad., Attack, Pfeiffer (Lebanon, Ohio): 1 GP, 9 G ... John Allen broke the USA South single-game scoring record with nine goals in a 24-11 win over William Peace, helping Pfeiffer to a perfect 8-0 conference finish.

Mac Bredahl, Jr., Attack, Tufts (Chatham, N.J.): 2 GP, 3 G, 15 A, 4 GB, 4 CT ... Mac Bredahl averaged nine points per game over the weekend. His eight assists at Bates on helped Tufts set a school record for goals during their 31-7 win. He then added seven more assists as Tufts defeated Division I Dartmouth 15-9 on Sunday.

Jake Brummett, Sr., Face-Off, Hampden-Sydney (Glen Rock, Pa.): 1 GP, 1 G, 24 GB, 88.8 FO% ... Jake Brummett set a new career high in ground balls in the lone game of the week versus Shenandoah, going 24-for-27 at the X and scooped the ground ball on each one.

Jack Dobrzynski, Sr., Face-Off, UMass Boston (Marshfield, Mass.): 3 GP, 1 G, 3 A, 42 GB, 54.4 FO% ... Jack Dobrzynski tied the NCAA record for face-off wins in a single game (36) versus Western Connecticut. He grabbed 26 ground balls and had three assists in the conference win

Jack Hennessey, Sr., Attack, St. Lawrence (Hingham, Mass.): 1 GP, 6 G, 3 GB, 1 CT ... Jack Hennessey led the No. 14 Saints to a 17-7 win over Ithaca. He scored six goal of the game en route to the win. He also added three ground balls and one caused turnover.

Eric Husselbaugh, Sr., Attack, Bridgewater (Annapolis, Md.): 2 GP, 12 G, 6 A, 6 GB, 2 CT ... Eric Husselbaugh recorded 18 points over two wins. He became the program’s all-time leading scorer vs. Virginia Wesleyan and then joined the 200-point club (48 games) vs. Ferrum.

- Ryan Kenney, Jr., Attack, Lynchburg (Hingham, Mass.): 3 GP, 10 G, 2 A, 6 GB, 1 CT ... Ryan Kenney became the 13th player in program history to score seven goals in a game during Sunday’s win over No. 18 Colorado College.

Marc Poust, Sr., Goalie, Stevenson (Horsham, Pa.): 1 GP, 1 GB, 62.0 SV%, 8.00 GAA ... Marc Poust had a great night in goal with 13 saves as he limited No. 4 York (Pa.) to just eight goals. York came into the game averaging over 20 goals per game.

Joey Tatar, Jr., Defense, Albion (Battle Creek, Mich.): 2 GP, 8 GB, 7 CT ... Joey Tatar has been among the DIII leaders in CTs all year and headlines a defense which finished with with a perfect conference record and won the regular season championship. Albion is currently second nationally in CTs per game.

Alex Ulrich, Sr., Face-Off, Gettysburg (Annapolis, Md.): 2 GP, 18 GB, 78.3 FO% ... Alex Ulrich won 36-of-46 face-offs in wins over Washington College and McDaniel. He was 18-of-26 with 10 GBs against the Shoremen and 18-of-20 with eight GBs against the Green Terror.
