The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2021 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 20. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Gavin Admirand, Jr., Attack, UMass Boston (Marshfield, Mass.)
2 GP, 14 G, 5 A, 6 GB, 6 CT ... Gavin Admirand was practically unstoppable for the Beacons, totaling 14 goals and five assists. He registered a pair of man-up goals and tallied six ground balls and six caused turnovers. Admirand currently leads Division III in goals per game (8.00) and points per game (10.00).
- Hakan Atillasoy, Sr., Attack, Ursinus (Haverford, Pa.)
1 GP, 3 G, 2 A, 2 GB ... Hakan Atillasoy scored three goals and added two assists in a 14-9 win over Dickinson. He became the fourth player in program history to reach the century mark.
- Jace Conley, Jr., Attack, Albion (Waterford, Mich.)
2 GP, 14 G, 4 A, 12 GB, 1 CT ... Jace Conley had another strong week with 14 points and seven goals during the win over Hope to remain perfect in league play. Conley’s 12 ground balls this week helped fuel the offense. Conley is leading the MIAA in goals, total points and is second in the league in assists.
- Dillon D'Amato, So., Defense, Allegheny (Tolland, Conn.)
2 GP, 10 GB, 10 CT ... Dillon D’Amato helped Allegheny to its first two NCAC wins in its second your of existence. During a pair of wins over Hiram, the team captain forced 10 turnovers and record 10 ground balls. His defensive effort helped hold the Terriers to just six goals and 11 shots on goal over two games.
- Vinny Facciponti, So., Face-Off, York (Pa.) (Annapolis, Md.)
1 GP, 1 G, 2 A, 10 GB, 73.9 FO% (17-for-23) ... Vinny Facciponti had another outstanding performance at the face-off X. The sophomore matched his career highs in face-offs won (17), ground balls (10) and points (3), while establishing a new career high with two assists in York’s victory over Misericordia.
- Ryan Gebhart, Sr., Attack, Stevens (Baldwinsville, N.Y.)
2 GP, 7 G, 3 A, 6 GB, 4 CT ... Ryan Gebhardt totaled seven goals and three assists over two games and became Stevens' all-time career leader in goals (for the longest running lacrosse program in the NCAA). He also picked up six ground balls and caused four turnovers.
- Tucker Hill, Jr., Face-Off, Pfeiffer (Victor, N.Y.)
2 GP, 1 G, 23 GB, 1 CT, 68.5 FO% (34-for-54) ... Tucker Hill had 23 ground balls and was a combined 37-of-54 on face-offs in Pfeiffer's two wins.
- Devin Kelley, Jr., Goalie, Mount Saint Mary College (Hebron, Conn.)
1 GP, 81.8 SV%, 2.00 GAA ... Devin Kelley made 9 saves and only allowed two goals in the victory this week with several point black stops. He has a 57% save percentage this season.
- Hunter Olsen, Jr., Attack, SUNY Canton (Webster, N.Y.)
2 GP, 11 G, 12 A, 14 GB ... Hunter Olson posted 23 points as the Roos swept a pair of conference games against SUNY Cobleskill. He opened the week with game highs in points (8), assists (5) and points (13) in the road win. Olsen added game highs in points (10) and assists (7) during a 21-14 win on Senior Day.
- Dawson Tait, Sr., Attack, RIT (Ottawa, Ontario)
2 GP, 7 G, 2 A, 8 GB, 2 CT ... Dawson Tait helped No. 1 RIT men's lacrosse team to a 2-0 record last week. Leading the team in scoring during two nationally-ranked wins, Tait’s week was highlighted by six goals and an assist during a 15-5 win over No. 10 St. Lawrence.
