2021 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division III – Week of March 8

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2021 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 9. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

-Brady Altobello, Jr., Midfield, Christopher Newport (Potomac, Md.) 2 GP, 8 G, 1 A, 1 GB ... Brady Altobello became just the second player in program history to open a season with three straight hat tricks. His 13 points mark the second-highest total by a Captain through three games. Altobello established new career highs with five goals and six points at Roanoke.

-Quinn Becraft, So., Attack, Pfeiffer University (Huntersville, N.C.) 1 GP, 8 G, 4 GB, 1 CT ... Quinn Becraft scored half of Pfeiffer's goals during an 16-8 road win at Ferrum. He also had four ground balls and a caused turnover. All 13 of his shots were on goal.

-Ryan Coleman, So., Midfield, Stevenson University (Fairfax Station, Va.) 1 GP, 3 G, 3 A, 1 GB, 1 CT ... Ryan Coleman had a career-high six points (3 G, 3 A) against #18 Stevens.

-Chris Darminio, So., LSM, Lynchburg (Sykesville, Md.) 2 GP, 1 G, 4 GB, 3 CT ... Chris Darminio provided three caused turnovers in Lynchburg's 10-8 win over No. 1 Salisbury. That total included one late as Lynchburg held the Sea Gulls scoreless for the last 8:09 of the game. Darminio scored his first career goal vs. St. Mary's (Md.).

-Anders Erickson, Jr., Attack, Colorado College (Lone Tree, Colo.) 1 GP, 7 G, 4 A, 2 GB ... Anders Erickson set season highs of seven goals and 11 points. He became the first Colorado College player to record 11 points in a game since 2011.

-Connor Graser, Sr., Defense, Albright (Middletown, Del.) 1 GP, 1 G, 1 A, 11 GB, 4 CT ... Connor Graser grabbed a career-high 11 ground balls and forced four turnovers in Albright's opening game versus DeSales. Graser also scored a goal and tallied an assist.

-Colin O'Malley, Fr., Face-Off/Midfield, Westminster (Pa.) (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 1 GP, 2 A, 12 GB, 90.5 FO% ... Colin O'Malley led with a game and career-high twelve ground balls against Bethany College on the road Saturday in just his second career game. O'Malley also won 19 of 21 faceoffs, setting a career high in faceoff wins and faceoff winning percentage.

-Quintin Ricci, Gr., Face-Off, Lynchburg (Oakton, Va.) 2 GP, 3 G, 19 GB, 65.9 FO% ... Quintin Ricci went 10-for-22 after losing his first five during Lynchburg's 10-8 win over No. 1 Salisbury, also scoring a goal in the victory. Ricci was dominant in Sunday's win over St. Mary’s (Md.), winning 21 of 25 chances and scoring twice.

-Ricky Smith, Jr., Attack, Illinois Wesleyan University (Frankfort, Ill.) 1 GP, 9 G, 2 A, 4 GB, 1 CT ... Ricky Smith finished with 11 points, including four goals in the first quarter to lead IWU to a win. He had 14 shots on goal and was also a key contributor in the ride, causing a turnover and picking up four ground balls.

-Zac Hanway, So., Goalie, Christopher Newport (Ocean City, Md.) 2 GP, 1 G, 3 GB, 1 CT, 72 SV%, 7.00 GAA ... Zac Hanway is now at a 74 save percentage through three games. He added three ground balls vs. Southern Virgnia. Hanway totaled 18 saves this past week and became the first goalie in program history to score a goal after connecting against SVU.
