The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2021 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 16. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- A - Timmy Ley, Boston U. / vs. Holy Cross / 7G, 2A, 9Pts, set a program record with his 7 goals en route to a career-high 9 points
- A - Liam Limoges, Vermont / vs. Albany / 4G, 3A, 7Pts, 11Sh, his 7-point day marked a career high in points
- A - Dalton Young, Richmond / vs. VMI / 7G, 7Pts, 8 Sh, scored a program-record 6 goals in the opening half
- M - Jack Rooney, Merrimack / vs. Wagner / 5G, 1A, 6Pts, 3CT, 4GB
- D - Nick Grill, Maryland / vs. Rutgers / 2CT, 3GB, held Preseason First-Team All- American Connor Kirst, to just 2 assists and no goals, Kirst came in averaging 3.6 goals per game
- D - Jared Reinson, Johns Hopkins / vs. Penn State / 2CT, 4GB, part of a defensive unit that held Penn State to just 3 goals in the first 3 quarters (6 in the game), Johns Hopkins also held the Nittany Lions without a shot in the third quarter
- GK - Collin Krieg, North Carolina / vs. Virginia / 13 GA, 20 Sv, his 20 saves were a career high
- GK - Kevin Sobey, Cleveland State / vs. Bellarmine / 1GA, 17 Sv
- FO - Justin Coppola, Villanova / vs. St. John's / 20-22, 90.9 FO%, 10 GB, 1G, 1A FO - Jacob Griffin, Richmond / vs. VMI / 22-26, 84.6 FO%, 16 GB
