The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2021 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 16. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
-Connor Owen – A - CSU Pueblo – 6 goals and 1 gb form attack against Shorter University.
-Carter Collins – M – Lindenwood – Collins filled up the stat sheet with a season-high eight points (5 G, 3 A), while scooping up 4 ground balls and causing 2 turnovers in a win against No. 10 UIndy
-Logan Gray – FO – Seton Hill – Gray controlled the faceoff X in the Griffins 34-4 win over Davis & Elkins; he won all 22 of his faceoffs and added 17 ground balls
-Logan Maloni – A – Seton Hill – Maloni paced the Griffin offense in their 34-4 win over Davis & Elkins; he scored 4 goals and added 4 assists in just over a quarter and a half of playing time
-Zach Ornstein – FO – Chestnut Hill – Dominant week at the X with 28 GBS in a week that the Griffins go 2-0
-Noah Haas – A – Belmont Abbey – 6 goals and an assist
-Luke Spanier – A – Belmont Abbey – 10 points in a 22-3 win over Chowan
-Antonio Rey – FO – Mercy - Rey went 15-for-16 on face-offs, scored a goal and had a game-high 11 ground balls in Mercy's win over Georgian Court
-Frank Smith – A – Limestone – Also registered an 11-point week, posting four goals and dishing out seven assists in two wins for Limestone. Scored a man-down goal against Lincoln Memorial and had a goal and four assists as part of a 14-0 run
-Jake Socia – D – Maryville - Grabbed a career-high seven Ground Balls in the win at No. 13 Rockhurst. Registered a season-best four Caused Turnovers. Help limit Rockhurst to eight goals, tied for its lowest offensive production on the season. Shut out Rockhurst in a quarter for the first time this year
