2020 USILA / Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week – Division III – Week of March 9

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2020 Division III Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 10. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Ben Minardi, Sr. Midfield, Ursinus
Scored a career-high six goals - including a school-record five in the third quarter - of an 18-11 win at Montclair State, then came back with four more markers in a 20-8 rout of Illinois Wesleyan.

Brendan O’Sullivan, Jr. Attack, York (Pa)
Broke the school records for points and goals scored as he had eight goals and three assists for 11 points. He also had four ground balls and a caused turnover. He scored his eight goals on just 12 shots. O'Sullivan broke Andrew Collins' school record of 10 points set back on April 25, 2004. He broke the school record of seven goals set multiple times, most recently by Thomas Pfeiffer on April 10, 2019. O'Sullivan also had two goals and four ground balls in the Spartans' 7-6 overtime loss to #12 Gettysburg.

Brett Gladstone, So. Midfield, Grove City
Scored eight goals Saturday, including the OT game-winner, in a 16-15 double-overtime win over Coast Guard. Three days prior, he recorded three goals at Scranton.

Cole Pellicano, Sr. Goalie, Dickinson
Totaled 16 saves in a 10-8 win over Roanoke, adding three GBs and a caused turnover.

Conor Lenfest, Jr. Attack, UMASS Boston
Had a combined 23 points in the Beacons 2-0 week. Registered a career-high 10 goals and had three assists in the 26-13 win over Emmanuel College. Added eight assists and two goals to his stat line in Saturday's 22-3 win over previously undefeated Maine Maritime Academy. Of his 12 goals, three were man-up tallies. He also finished with seven ground balls and combined for 20 shots on goal.

Dylan Rice, Jr. Attack, Christopher Newport
Established a new career-high with six goals against Eastern on Wednesday, which also tied the second-highest single-game total in program history. On Saturday, he came back with four more goals in a win over No. 16 Stevenson, including two in the fourth quarter that helped the Captains overcome a four-goal deficit on the way to the 14-13 triumph. With his 10 goals during the week, he moved into second-place on the program's career list with 123, standing just three shy of matching the all-time program record.

Mason Gauntt, Jr. Midfield, Bridgewater
Went 23-of-26 on faceoffs with 17 ground balls on the road at #17 Lynchburg, breaking the school single game marks for faceoffs won and GBs that he just set last Sunday (21-of-22,16 GBs vs. Huntingdon).

Max Leventis, So. Midfield, Adrian
Helped Adrian to best start since 2015 at 3-1...Set school record with 22 ground balls and 23-for-25 at the "X' in 17-6 road win at Earlham...Also had 5 GBs and 16-of-24 FOs at Concordia Chicago, a 14-9 win.

Scott MacMillan, So. Goalie, Gettysburg
Racked up 32 saves in wins over No. 9 York (7-6) and Widener (12-10). He logged a career-high 23 saves as the Bullets knocked off the Spartans in overtime and he added nine stops and five ground balls in the win over Widener.

Tyler Nation, Jr. LSM, York (Pa.)
In the overtime loss to #12 Gettysburg, Nation had four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the game. He also had an assist in the game. Nation followed that with three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the Spartans' 18-5 win over Lycoming on Sunday.
