2020 USILA / Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week – Division II – Week of Feb. 24

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2020 Division II Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Eric Dickinson, Lenoir-Rhyne (Sr., A, Charlotte, N.C.)
Became the South Atlantic Conference all-time leading goal scorer with his first goal against Belmont Abbey, surpassing teammate Joe Buduo with his 142nd career goal. Scored five of the Bears seven goals against No. 6 Belmont Abbey and added an assist.

Patrick Egan, Chowan (Sr., A, Colchester, Conn.)
Posted 10 goals and five assists to lead the Hawks to a 2-0 record during the week.

Larson Sundown, Limestone (Sr., A, Basom, N.Y.)
Posted a career-high eight assists in a 16-7 win over Florida Tech - his eight assists rank the second-highest single game total in program history.
 
Jordan Williams, Saint Leo (Jr., FO, Clermont, Fla.)
Earned a game-high nine ground balls while winning the faceoff to pace Saint Leo over Young Harris.

Bryce Gifford, Belmont Abbey (Sr., GK, Delran, N.J.)
Made 16 saves on 23 shots in a 12-7 win over Lenoir Rhyne.

Gunner Gebelein, Palm Beach Atlantic (So., LSM, Huntingtown, Md.)
Had a game-high (for non-faceoff specialists) eight ground balls and caused five turnovers against No. 14 ranked Queens. The sophomore leads the Sunshine State Conference in ground balls per game(for non-faceoff specialists) and caused turnovers per game.

Joe Venazio, Coker (So., A, Myrtle Beach, S.C.)
Combined 13 points in two games, leads South Atlantic Conference in goals, assists and points.

Ethan Erickson, Wingate (Fr., GK, Portland, Ore.)
He piled up 15 saves as #12 Wingate took down #10 UIndy, 13-7. Erickson and the Bulldogs blanked the Greyhounds for the first 18 minutes of the game, jumping out to a 7-0 lead.

CJ Hart, Saint Anselm (Jr., GK, Reading, Mass.)
He made 16 saves on 23 shots, setting a career-high mark in saves and ground balls (three), in a 16-7 win over 18th-ranked New York Tech.

Matt Hutchings, Le Moyne (Sr., A, Marcellus, N.Y.)
He registered five points on four goals, including the game-tying and go-ahead goals in the fourth quarter, and one assist in Le Moyne’s 12-11 victory over ninth-ranked Mercy on Saturday.
