2020 USILA / Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week – Division I – Week of Feb. 24

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2020 Division I Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Michael Bollinger, Stony Brook  - Sr., G, Holbrook, N.Y.
Made 22 saves in an 11-10 OT win over Brown; the 22 saves were a career high.

Chris Gray, North Carolina – Jr., A, Wading River, N.Y.
Had eight goals and an assist in a 17-10 win over Johns Hopkins; the eight goals were a career high.

Tristan Hanna, Cleveland St.  – Jr., A, Leaksdale, Ont.
Had a school-record seven goals to lead Cleveland State to a 12-11 OT win over Air Force, the first win over a nationally ranked opponent in program history; scored all four of CSU's goals in the fourth quarter, including one to tie the game in the final minute and then scored the winner in overtime.

Connor Kirst, Villanova – Sr., M, Bernardsville, N.J.
Had three goals and two assists in a win over Maryland; also had three goals and an assist in a win over Hofstra.

Charles Leonard, Notre Dame – Sr., FO, Highlands Ranch, Colo.
Was nearly perfect at the X, winning 19-of-20 faceoffs in a 13-5 win over Richmond; also had 10 ground balls and an assist.

Sean Lulley, Penn – Jr., A, Melville, N.Y.
Had six goals and an assist in a 14-11 win over Duke; the six goals and seven points gave him new career highs for the second straight week.

JT Roselle, Marist – So., LSM, Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.
Had five caused turnovers and four ground balls, as well as a goal and assist, in the 17-9 win over Army; the two points were the first two of his career.

Bailey Savio, Loyola – Jr., FO, Greenwich, Conn.
Won 23 of 24 face-offs and had 18 ground balls in a win over Rutgers; set Patriot League records for ground balls and face-off percentage (.958).
 
Michael Sowers, Princeton – Sr., A, Dresher, Pa.
Had a seven-goal, 15-assist week after having 4G and 4A against Virginia and 3G and 11A against Colgate to lead the Tigers to a pair of wins; broke the Ivy League record for points in a game in the win over Colgate.

Jamie Trimboli, Syracuse – Sr., M, Victor, N.Y.
Had five goals in a 9-7 win over Army; had four goals in the second half, including three straight to start the third quarter after Army had a three-goal lead at the break.
