2020 USILA / Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week – Division II – Week of Feb. 10

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2020 Division II Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, Feb. 10. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Dryden Brous, Lynn (Sr., FO, Ocean City, Md.)
Led the team in faceoff wins (34) during its 19-15 win over North Greenville.

Connor Ciemiewicz, Lindenwood (Jr., GK, San Diego, Calif.)
Made 15 saves during Lindenwood's come-from-behind victory over Florida Tech. Shutout the visiting Panthers during the fourth quarter, and limited Florida Tech to just three second-half goals, allowing Lindenwood to complete the comeback.

Peter Covington, Lindenwood (So., A, St. Louis, Mo.)
Finished his Lindenwood debut with a game-high four goals and five points. Had four of his points, including three goals during Lindenwood's second-half comeback over Florida Tech.

Austin Hassen, Belmont Abbey (So., A, Brampton, Ontario)
Established new single-game career-highs in goals (6) and points (7) to lift Belmont Abbey to an 18-6 victory over Catawba.

AJ Hems, Tusculum (Sr., M, Laurens, S.C.)
Scored career-high five goals, four in the first half, as Tusculum beat Barton 14-8 in their season opener on Saturday.

Sam Lindahl, Rockhurst (Jr., A, Maplewood, Minn.)
Posted a team-high six-point performance, including three goals and three assists during a 17-12 victory over Westminster.

Myles Moffat, Lenoir-Rhyne (So., A, Alberta, Canada)
Scored five goals and added one assist in his first game back after a knee injury ended his 2019 season.

Brian Robb, Indianapolis (R-So., M, Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia)?
Recorded five points, including three goals, in the season-opening victory over Westminster.

Thomas Vassen, Montevallo (Jr., A, Victoria, British Columbia)
Scored a season-high nine goals on only 10 shots in Montevallo's 19-12 win in the snow at Mars Hill ... had four goals throughout each the second and third quarters.

Connnor Watson, Mount Olive (Jr., A, Langley, British Columbia)
Led the team in goals (7) and points (8) in the season-opener win for the No.8 Trojans over Newberry.
