The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 13th 2019 Division III Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, May 7. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Zach Bowen, DeSales (So., A, Middletown, Del.)
Zach Bowen was named the MAC Freedom Tournament MVP after leading DeSales to its first-ever MAC Freedom Championship with wins over Misericordia and Eastern. He scored eight goals and assisted on two others during those tournament contests.

Ethan Christensen, Stevenson (Jr., A, Bridgewater, N.J.)
Ethan Christensen was named the MAC Commonwealth Tournament MVP after totaling seven goals and seven assists. He recorded two goals and four assists in a conference semifinal win against Widener, then had five goals and three assists - including the game's first three goals - as the Mustangs downed Lycoming 23-4 in the conference championship game.
 
Henry DeCamp, Denison (Sr., FO, Washington, D.C.)
Henry DeCamp won 47-of-59 on faceoffs in NCAC Tournament wins over Wooster and Ohio Wesleyan. DeCamp was named to the all-tournament team after going 24-of-28 vs. Wooster with 20 ground balls and 23-of-31 with 18 ground balls vs. OWU. He also became Denison's career leader in ground balls vs. Ohio Wesleyan with 383 in only three seasons at Denison.
 
Justin Joseph, Lycoming (Fr., FO/M, Exeter, Pa.)
Justin Joseph won 65 percent of the faceoffs in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament, winning 19-of-29 against Messiah and 20-of-31 against Stevenson.
 
Nick Kirk, Ursinus (Sr., G, Lancaster, Pa.)
Nick Kirk made 17 saves in a semifinal victory at Franklin & Marshall, then set a CC championship game record with 22 saves during a 10-8 victory over Gettysburg to lead the Bears to their first Centennial Conference crown.
 
Frank Krug, DeSales (Jr., LSM, Perkasie, Pa.)
Frank Krug was named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week after helping DeSales win it’s first-ever MAC Freedom Championship. Krug totaled 11 caused turnovers and 21 ground balls in the two playoff games last week.
 
Jordan Krug, Cabrini (Sr., A, Marlton, N.J.)
Jordan Krug led Cabrini to its 19th consecutive conference title and was named MVP after recording a career-high 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) and five ground balls in the championship. Krug also tallied eight points (5 goals, 3 assists) and two caused turnovers during the semifinal victory.
 
Josiah Martin, Lynchburg (Fr., M, Lynchburg, Va.)
Josiah Martin helped Lynchburg reach its sixth-consecutive ODAC final and receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. He finished the week with three caused turnovers, three ground balls, one goal, and one assist.
 
Luc Swedlund, Stockton (So., A, Randolph, N.J.)
Luc Swedlund was named MVP of CSAC championship game. He finished with a game-high six
goals and eight points during the CSAC championship game. Swedlund scored the game-winning goal to snap an 11-11 tie with 4:46 left in the game and had either a goal or assist on eight of Stockton’s 14 goals.
 
Brandon Warren, Salisbury (Jr., G, Forest Hill, Md.)
Brandon Warren turned in an exceptional week for the Sea Gulls as he helped the third-ranked team in the nation claim its 22nd Capital Athletic Conference championship. Warren made eight saves and allowed just six goals in the CAC semifinal against Christopher Newport but turned in an even more impressive performance against York (Pa.) in the CAC championship as he totaled 16 saves while allowing just seven goals against. For the week Warren totaled 118:50 minutes played, allowed just 13 goals against for a goals against average of 6.56 while totaling 24 saves for a save percentage of .649.
