The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its ninth 2019 Division II Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 9. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Devin Andrews, Le Moyne (SO., A, Canandaigua, N.Y.)
Devin registered 10 points in sixth-ranked Le Moyne’s 2-0 week. He tallied seven points in a 20-6 win over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday and scored three goals in an 11-6 victory at seventh-ranked Pace on Saturday.

Cody Bielec, Young Harris (SO., A/M, Niagara Falls, N.Y.)
Cody set a program-record with nine goals and 14 points in 24-3 GLVC win over Shorter.

Dryden Brous, Lynn (JR., FO, Ocean City, Md.)
Brous had another strong week at the face-off X as the Fighting Knights picked up two crucial SSC victories to extend their winning streak to five games. Brous took all but one face-off over the two games, winning 36-of-48 attempts for a 75% success clip. He did a large majority of the work himself, winning 23 ground balls, while also scoring a goal on offense. Against Florida Tech, Brous went 20-of-28 on faceoffs with a game-high 11 ground balls. He followed up with another strong performance versus Embry-Riddle, scoring his third goal of the season while winning 16-of-20 faceoffs with a game-high 12 ground balls.

Max Eismann, Seton Hill (JR., GK, Rochester, N.Y.)
Eismann made a career-high 20 saves in the Griffins 13-11 win over #11 Mercyhurst. He made 13 saves in the first half as SHU took a 7-2 halftime lead.
 
Connor Farrell, LIU Post (SR., FO, Holtsville, N.Y.)  
Finished 36-for-37 at the faceoff X during a 2-0 week for the Pioneers. He added two assists and 33 ground balls.
 
Ryan MacSpadyen, Mercy (SR., M, Toronto, Ontario)
Ryan had 11 points over two games last week. He recorded a game-high six points on four goals and two assists against Dominican. He posted two goals and three assists in Mavericks first-ever win at NYIT on Saturday.
 
Bryan Ochs, LIU Post (SR., GK, Syosset, N.Y.)
Played 75 minutes during two victories on the week. He allowed just five goals for a 4.00 goals-against average and made 14 saves for a .737 save percentage.
 
Liam Osborne, Belmont Abbey (SR., A, Bowmanville, Ontario)
Liam scored seven goals in a game, while also picking up five ground balls in a 31-8 win.
 
Evan Schimek, Rollins (SR., D, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)
Evan helped the Tars win back-to-back Sunshine State Conference games, including a victory over No. 14 Saint Leo. He earned four ground balls and three caused turnovers against both the Lions and Florida Southern.
 
Christian Thomas, Merrimack (SO., A, Wrentham, Mass.)
Thomas piled up 16 points last week on the strength of eight goals and eight assists over two games to secure two more wins for the Warriors. He had a man-up goal, a man-down goal, and 13 total shots, converting at 61.5 percent. He also had two ground balls and two caused turnovers. A career-high 10 of those points came in Tuesday's win at #20 Saint Anselm before he added six more on Saturday against SNHU.
