The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 11th 2019 Division I Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 23. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Brendan Gleason, Notre Dame (Sr., A, Essex, Vt.)
Scored five goals in a 12-10 win over North Carolina; scored two of his goals in the fourth quarter, including one with 1:09 left after UNC had cut it to 11-10.
 
Chris Gray, Boston University (So., A, Wading River, N.Y.)
Had six goals and four assists in a 15-11 win over Holy Cross to clinch a Patriot League tournament spot; the six goals and 10 points tied career highs.
 
TD Ierlan, Yale (Jr., FO, Victor, N.Y.)
Won 16 of 17 face-offs in a 10-5 win over Albany, his former team; also had 13 ground balls and scored a goal.
 
Grant Maloof, Towson (Sr., M, Davidsonville, Md.)
Scored five goals and had an assist for a career-high six points in a 14-12 win over Delaware; the five goals came on five shots, and his assist came on the game-winning goal.
 
Jason Reynolds, Richmond (So., D, Chester Springs, Pa.)
Had five caused turnovers and four ground balls in a 15-9 win over Mercer; win clinched a spot in the Southern Conference tournament.
 
Sean Sconone, UMass (Sr., G, East Islip, N.Y.)
Made a career-high 21 saves in a 17-8 win over Fairfield; also had two caused turnovers and four ground balls.
 
Logan Shamblin, Detroit-Mercy (So., G, Washington Twp., Mich.)
Made a career-high 21 saves in a 13-10 win over Siena; win clinched a spot in the MAAC tournament.
 
Michael Sowers, Princeton (Jr., A, Dresher, Pa.)
Had three goals and seven assists in a 19-15 win over Harvard; tied Kevin Lowe’s 25-year-old program record with 247 career points in just 41 games, compared to the 60 games Lowe played; also now has the three-highest single-season point totals in program history.
 
Will Vitton, Villanova (Fr., G, Summit, N.J.)
Made 17 saves in a 16-5 win over St. John’s; made 11 first-half saves as Villanova built a 10-2 lead at intermission.
 
Zach Whitenack, Cleveland State (Jr., LSM, Galena, Ohio)
Had two goals and one assist, three caused turnovers and three ground balls in a 17-8 win over Utah; had second career two-goal game and a career-high three points.
