The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its eighth 2019 Division II Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, April 2. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Casey Brown, Chestnut Hill (Sr. A, Havre de Grace, Md.)
Brown scored 12 points last week, netting nine goals and collecting three assists. The senior was extremely efficient on his scoring chances, scoring his nine tallies on just 12 shots against Mercy and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Connor Farrell, LIU Post (Sr. FO, Holtsville, N.Y.)
Farrell was dominant in faceoffs last week for the Pioneers, posting a .935 winning percentage against Georgian Court and Molloy. In addition to winning 43-of-46 draws, the senior collected 39 ground balls during the week.

Bryce Gifford, Belmont Abbey (So. GK, Delran, N.J.)
Gifford posted a .680 save percentage in the Crusaders’ win over No. 12 Mount Olive. The sophomore netminder recorded 17 saves on 25 shots in addition to collecting four ground balls.

Noah Haas, Belmont Abbey (Fr. A, Gulf Breeze, Fla.)
Haas scored a team-high five goals in Belmont Abbey’s win against No. 12 Mount Olive. Three of his tallies came in a 5-1 run that gave the Crusaders a 12-5 lead.

Colby Hamwey, Assumption (Sr. GK, West Yarmouth, Mass.)
Hamwey went 1-1 with a .969 GAA and .625 save percentage while averaging 16.5 save per game. He allowed 12 goals with 16 saves against Le Moyne, and six goals with 17 saves against Southern New Hampshire.

Daniel Keenan, Pace (Sr. A, Mount Sinai, N.Y.)
Keenan was an offensive catalyst for the Setters in their two games, racking up 10 assists and 12 points for Pace. The senior had five helpers against No.1 Adelphi before ending the week with another five-assist effort against Saint Rose, also adding a pair of goals in the win over the Golden Knights.

Parker Kump, Indianapolis (Sr. A, Surrey, British Columbia)
Kump set a new UIndy program record in the Greyhounds’ victory over Shorter last week with 10 points. The senior attack scored seven goals, the second-highest single-game total in Indianapolis history, in addition to three assists. Kump also picked up four ground balls in the win.
 
Sam Kury, Le Moyne (Fr. FO, Oakdale, Conn.)
Kury was extremely effective at the X in Le Moyne’s two victories last week, going 36-of-42 in draws against No. 17 Assumption and No. 20 Saint Anselm. The freshman also added 17 groundballs in the two contests.

Sam Lindahl, Rockhurst (So, A, Maplewood, Minn.)
Lindahl led the 16th-ranked Hawks with seven points and six ground balls in 13-10 win over Westminster (UT).  He finished the day with four goals and three assists.

Will Moriarty, Saint Michael’s (Jr. D, Ashland, Mass.)
Moriarty forced 11 turnovers and collected six ground balls to lead the Purple Knights defensive effort against Franklin Pierce and No. 1 Adelphi last week. Saint Michael’s limited opponents to a 61 percent clearance rate in their two-game stretch.
