The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its sixth 2019 Division I Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 19. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Dan Axelson, Providence (Jr., M, Cohasset, Mass.)
Scored four goals, including the game-winner, in a 11-10 win over Hofstra; had one career goal prior to the game.
 
Ryan Conrad, Virginia (Sr., SSDM, Timonium, Md.)
Had seven ground balls, two caused turnovers, a goal and an assist in a 13-11 win over Notre Dame; part of a defense that forced 22 Notre Dame turnovers and helped UVa rally from a five-goal, second-half deficit.
 
Griffin Cook, Syracuse (Fr., A, Syracuse, N.Y.)
Had two goals and an assist, all in the final 6:48, in an 18-14 win over Rutgers; Syracuse was down 13-10 with 11 minutes to go and it was 14-14 with seven minutes left before Cook scored, had an assist, and scored again in a 4:36 span to make it 17-14.
 
Bubba Fairman, Maryland (So., M, Sandy, Utah)
Had four goals and two assists in 17-7 win over Villanova; had two goals and two assists in the first half and then the first two goals of the third quarter as the Terps blew the game open.
 
Chris Fake, Yale (So., D, Allentown, N.J.)
Held Cornell’s Jeff Teat to one goal and one assist in a 16-11 Bulldog win; also had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
 
Kyle Gallagher, Penn (Jr., FO, Northport, N.Y.)
Won 20 of 30 face-offs and added 16 ground balls and two assists in a 19-10 win over Princeton; both assists game on a 6-0 third-quarter run that turned a 7-6 deficit into a 12-7 lead, including one seven seconds after Princeton had taken the lead.
 
Jack Kiernan, Siena (So, A, Ridgewood, N.J.)
Had nine goals on 11 shots in league wins over St. Bonaventure and Manhattan; had six goals on seven shots against the Jaspers and three on four against the Bonnies.
 
Dawes Milchling, Vermont (Sr., A, Cockeysville, Md.)
Scored four goals in a 12-11 double overtime win over UMBC in a game the Catamounts trailed 10-4 after three quarters; scored two goals during a 5-0 run over the last 5:27, including the tying goal with 2:21 left, and then the game-winner in the second OT.
 
Brad Nordstrom, Canisius (Sr., G, Phoenix, Ariz.)
Made 16 saves in an 8-6 win over No. 19 Colgate; made 13 of his saves while allowing three goals in the final three quarters.
 
Pat Spencer, Loyola (Sr., A, Davidsonville, Md.)
Had four goals and four assists in an 18-5 win over Navy to become Loyola’s career leader in points; had three goals and three assists in the first half as Loyola built an 11-2 lead.
