USILA / Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week – Division II – Week of February 25

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its third 2019 Division II Warrior and New Balance Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, February 26. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

Addison Abramson, Florida Tech (Sr., LSM, Reisterstown, Md.)
.He was over the field for Florida Tech in the loss. He would have had at least 3-4 more CTs in the game if teammates would have picked up the GBs. Also had a BEAUTIFUL quick stick goal, right on the crease, off an inbound play behind the goal late in the 3rd.
 
Mark Andrejack, Adelphi (Sr., FO, Jamesport, N.Y.)
Scored twice in a 22-10 win over #14 Saint Leo but commanded the FO, going 31-35 at the X. Was also repsonsible for a new-career high mark of 19 ground balls in the win.
 
Charlie Bertrand, Merrimack (Jr., A, Baldwinsville, N.Y.)
Bertrand would end up tying his career-high in scoring with eight points while setting new personal bests with five ground balls and two caused turnovers in a win over NYIT.

Jeremy Burns, Limestone (Sr., A, Fort Mitchell, Ken.)
Scored twice and handed out three assists in a 13-10 win over No. 7 Mercyhurst. Helped Saints power out to a 3-0 lead, and then provided an assist during a decisive 3-0 run to close the game.

Connor Farrell, LIU Post (Sr., FO, Holtsville, N.Y.)
Finished 25-of-28 (.892) in the faceoff circle against No. 11/14 Saint Anselm. Tallied a career-best 24 ground balls during the win. Notched one assist.

Bryan Ochs, LIU Post (Sr., GK, Syosset, N.Y.)
Notched a career-high 18 saves during a victory against No. 11/14 Saint Anselm College. Posted a 64-percent save percentage to earn the win.
 
Liam Osborne, Belmont Abbey
(Sr., A, Bowmanville, Ont.)
Led his team with 8 points; also moved to #2 in Conference Carolinas with 16 goals (on the year) and tied for #2 in Conference Carolinas with nine assists (on the year).

Travis Reid, Assumption (Sr., A, Raynham, Mass.)
Reid set a new NCAA DII records with 22 points and 13 goals on 15 shots against Felician in a 34-3 win. The 22 points is also a new All-Division record while the 13 goals tied the All-Division record.
 
Lucas Shafer, Maryville
(Sr., A, Hamburg, N.Y.)
Led his team with four goals, including the eventual game winner, and added three assists in the victory over Lincoln Memorial. Tied his season high with four GBs. Has already broken the school record for season points with 36.
 
Connor Vercruysse, Pace (Gr., A, Yorktown Heights, N.Y.)
In Pace debut, led the team with seven points in a 23-11 win over Dominican. Notched five of his six goals in the first 30 minutes as the 15th-ranked Setters led 15-0 at halftime.
