Alex Ready had a season-high 14 saves, including nine in the first half to help Denver defeat Notre Dame on Sunday. In the first half, Ready limited the Irish to just two goals. Ready had a key save with :01 seconds on the clock to preserve the 8-8 tie and force the game into overtime. He followed his save causing a turnover and picking up the ground ball in the final scramble as the regulation horn blew.
