Dylan Slack made a career-high 17 saves in the Fords' win over McDaniel on Saturday to start the conference season. His effort was key to the win as the Green Terror outshot the Fords by a 34-29 margin. Slack also collected a career-best four ground balls as he stopped 77.3% of the shot on goal that he faced.
