Zed Williams scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Cornell. He helped UVA overcome a 6-0 deficit to start the game as the Cavaliers scored 15 goals in the second half. Williams finished the game with four goals and two assists, and scored his first three goals of the game in the fourth quarter. He capped that same 3-0 run with 14 seconds left with a man-up goal, giving UVA the lead. After Cornell tied the game on the ensuing faceoff, Williams stuck the game-winning goal in the overtime period.
