The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division I Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 27. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
1. Rhett Chambers, Midfield, Larchmont, N.Y., Junior, Providence Chambers recorded seven points on four goals and three assists in Providence’s 18-10 win at St. John’s. Chambers’ second goal marked his 100th career point.
2. Colman Craft, Defense, Pittsburgh, Pa., Freshman, Hobart Craft recorded a game-high four caused turnovers to help Hobart beat St. Bonaventure, 13-12. He finished the year with a program-record 28 caused turnovers, surpassing the old record by three.
3. Ryan Della Rocco, Goalie, Westfield, N.J., Graduate Student, Jacksonville Della Rocco made 14 saves and allowed just five goals in a 17-7 win over Mercer, lowering his goals-against average to an NCAA-best 7.63. This was Della Rocco’s fifth game this season with 14+ saves.
4. Tyler Fox, Midfield, Fairfield, Conn., Junior, Boston University Fox scored a career-high five goals on just six shots in the Terriers’ 18-12 win at Holy Cross that helped them clinch a share of the Patriot League regular-season title.
5. Ryan Goldstein, Attack, Radnor, Pa., Junior, Cornell Goldstein scored four goals and assisted on three others in a 11-9 win over No. 10 Harvard. He factored on Cornell’s final four goals of the game, including scoring the game-winner with 3:35 remaining in regulation.
6. Jake Melchionni, LSM, Bernardsville, N.J., Junior, Villanova Melchionni contributed a career-best five caused turnovers in addition to a game-high seven ground balls against No. 8 Georgetown, helping to hold the Hoyas to under 10 goals for just the third time this year.
7. John Schroter, Defense, Leesburg, Va., Senior, Virginia Schroter recorded three caused turnovers and three ground balls while holding his matchup scoreless in a 17-6 win over Drexel. He anchored a UVA defense that held Drexel to its lowest goal total in 24 games.
8. Truitt Sunderland, Attack, Baltimore, Md., Senior, Virginia Sunderland tallied a career-high 10 points on four goals and a career-best six assists in a 17-6 triumph over Drexel. Sunderland is one of two ACC players to record 10 points in a game this year.
9. Joaquin Villagomez, Attack, Severna Park, Md., Redshirt Junior, Towson Villagomez earned a career-high 10 points (5g, 5a), the first 10-point day by a Tiger since 2013, in a 20-3 victory over Hofstra to secure the outright CAA regular-season title.
10. Owen Wilson, Attack, Latham, N.Y., Senior, Le Moyne Wilson tallied a career-high six goals and added an assist for a career-best seven points in his final collegiate game, a 15-7 victory over Mercyhurst. Wilson also picked up two ground balls.
