2026 USILA Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week – Division III – Week of April 20

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division III Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 20. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:

- Mason Bellinger, Goalie, Sr., Paramus, N.J. (Christopher Newport). 26 saves, 74.3 save percentage, 9.00 goals against average. Bellinger established a new single-game school record with 26 saves during #4 Christopher Newport’s 12-9 win over #6 Salisbury on Saturday. After notching five stops in the opening quarter, he pocketed seven in each of the final three stanzas to set the program standard. He also registered his second career goal after going coast-to-coast on a clear attempt in the third quarter, which knotted the game at eight and kicked off a second-half rally.

- Chris Gottlieb, Defense, Sr., Canton, Conn. (University of New England). 12 ground balls, 8 caused turnovers, 2 assists. Gottlieb totaled eight caused turnovers and 12 ground balls in a 1-1 week for University of New England against Curry and Roger Williams.

- Logan Lee, Defense, Jr., Centennial, Colo. (Tufts). 5 ground balls, 7 caused turnovers, 1 assist. Lee helped #1 Tufts to a pair of impressive road wins, as the Jumbos topped #5 Babson and Hamilton last week. Lee finished with seven caused turnovers and five ground balls, including causing five in Saturday's win at Hamilton.

- Ethan Francey, Defensive Midfield, So., Canton, N.Y. (SUNY Plattsburgh). 4 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers, 4 goals, 1 assist. In Plattsburgh’s lone game of the week, Francey played a key role on both ends of the field by scoring four goals with an assist for five points while also grabbing four ground balls and causing four turnovers in a 13-8 win over SUNY Canton.

- Jack Steimle, Faceoff Specialist, So., Mount Sinai, N.Y. (Westminster). 100.0 percent faceoff percentage (33 of 33), 25 ground balls. Steimle was perfect at the faceoff X in back-to-back conference victories, going 16-for-16 against Thiel and 17-for-17 versus Washington & Jefferson. He also set a new career high in ground balls in a game with 13 in the win over W&J.

- Owen Giorgio, Long-Stick Midfield, Jr., East Greenwich, R.I. (Husson). 1 goal, 15 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers. Giorgio put together another strong week of defense for Husson, posting six ground balls and one caused turnover while scoring once in a victory at Thomas, before ending the week with an 11-ground ball, three-caused turnover game in a win over MCLA.

- Kiernan Field, Midfield, Sr., Haymarket, Va. (Husson). 9 goals, 7 assists, 8 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers. Field recorded 16 points in a pair of conference wins for Husson. He began the week with a six-goal, four-assist performance in a win at Thomas, in which he posted the eventual gamewinning goal, in addition to adding one caused turnover. To finish his week, Field recorded three goals and three assists in a dominant win over MCLA, while also recording eight ground balls and two caused turnovers.

- Nick Guzman, Attack, Sr., Long Beach, Calif. (Spalding). 9 goals, 2 assists. In Spalding’s lone only game last week, Guzman recorded 11 points with nine goals and two assists in a 19-17 win over Heidelberg, scoring the team’s final four goals of the game to help secure the team’s first HCLC Tournament appearance in program history.

- Gibson Heethuis, Attack, Jr., Hudsonville, Mich. (Hope). 10 goals, 9 assists, 6 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers. Heethuis recorded 19 points for Hope in two conference wins last week, scoring 10 goals with nine assists while grabbing six ground balls and causing four turnovers. He went for six goals and four assists in a win over Albion, then had four goals and five helpers to help defeat Calvin.

- Jack Regnery, Attack, Sr., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (Tufts). 10 goals, 5 assists, 6 ground balls. Senior Regnery had a big week for #1 Tufts, scoring 10 goals with five assists and six ground balls in wins over #5 Babson and Hamilton. He scored four goals and dished out two more in a win over Babson to start the week. On Saturday, he tallied a season-high nine points on six goals and three assists in another road win at Hamilton.
