The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division I Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 20. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Michael Allieri, Goalkeeper, Wellesley, Mass., Graduate Student, Boston University Allieri posted 12 saves and allowed just two goals for an 85.7 percent save percentage in a 13-2 win over Lafayette. Allieri only allowed one 6-on-6 goal, as the other goal was a goalie goal in the third quarter. Lafayette was also held to a 0-for-6 mark on EMOs. Allieri has allowed just five goals over his last 85:22 of work and was part of a Terrier defense that held the Leopards scoreless for stretches of 29:09 and 26:12 during Saturday's game.
- Cullen Brown, Defense, Silver Springs, Md., Senior, Ohio State Brown caused three turnovers and grabbed five ground balls in the weekend’s contest. He scored Ohio State's second goal, which marked the first in a three-goal scoring run as the team recovered from a three-goal deficit to go on to win the regular season finale, 9-8. Brown helped the Buckeyes hold their opponent to single-digit goals for the 12th time in 13 games.
- Scott Conte, Attack, Wayne, N.J., Freshman, Delaware Conte won 26 faceoffs, the most in a single game in the country this season and tied for the third most in program history, as the Delaware men's lacrosse team bested St. Bonaventure, 19-16. The Wayne, N.J. native's 26 faceoff wins are the most in the nation in a single game by a freshman since 2020. The rookie also had a career-best 17 ground balls, which is tied for seventh most in a game in program history, and he added an assist for his first-career point.
- Cullen Decker, Midfield, Chatham, N.J., Senior, Vermont Decker's six points on four goals and two assists against UMass Lowell marked a career high. He helped the Catamounts capture the 14-10 victory over UMass Lowell and secure a spot in the America East Playoffs. This was his second 4 goal game of the season.
- Jaxon Dillon, Attack, Victoria, British Columbia, Junior, St. Bonaventure Dillon tied the St. Bonaventure program record for single-game goals, scoring six in a 19-16 loss to Delaware. The six marked the most goals in a game by an A-10 player this season.
- Owen Duffy, Faceoff, East Quogue, N.Y., Junior, North Carolina Duffy posted three goals and five first-half assists in Carolina's 16-15 overtime win at No. 11 Virginia on Saturday. His five-assist performance tied his career best and the eight points was one shy of his career high. The junior attackman has posted a point in all 40 career games, and five-or-more points in six games this spring.
- Owen Kovacs, Attack, Rye, N.Y., Senior, Bucknell Kovacs celebrated his senior day with a career-high seven points on five goals and two assists in a 15-13 win over Holy Cross. The five goals came on six shot attempts. After HC pulled within 9-8 early in the 3rd quarter, Kovacs scored two in a row to ignite a 5-1 run, and Bucknell maintained a multi-goal lead the rest of the way.
- Colin Michener, Attack, Plymouth Meeting, Pa., Senior, Villanova Michener scored a career-high seven goals in the playoff-clinching victory at Marquette, tying the team's single-game best this season. The senior scored in every quarter in Milwaukee, including two goals in each of the first, second and third periods. It's the eighth time this year that the Plymouth Meeting native has contributed a multi-goal day.
- Jon Singer, Goalie, Warwick, N.Y., Graduate Student, Hofstra Hofstra graduate student Jon Singer made the most of his first start in a Pride uniform in the team's 20-5 win over Hampton on Saturday. Singer made 14 saves for the Pride and added a ground ball in the victory. It marked the most saves Singer has made in a game at Hofstra. He had a stellar .737 save percentage. Singer, now in his second year at Hofstra, was making his first start in net since April 27, 2024, when playing for Ursinus. The 14 saves are the most for Singer since tallying 16 against Washington College on April 20, 2024. The start came on his “Senior Day” as well. Singer also played nearly five minutes earlier in the week against nationally ranked Yale and didn't allow any goals.
- Brady Wambach, Faceoff, Pittsford, N.Y., Junior, North Carolina Wambach had 23 faceoff wins and 11 ground balls in Carolina's 16-15 overtime win against No. 11 Virginia. Wambach's 23 faceoff wins and 33 attempts were a career high in both categories. Saturday was the fifth game this season with 20-or-more faceoff wins. Additionally, he scored a first-quarter goal, his sixth of the season.
