The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2026 Division I Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week accolades on April 13. Players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
The list of honorees are as follows:
- Michael Allieri, Goalkeeper, Wellesley, Mass., Graduate Student, Boston University Allieri entered at the start of the third quarter and stopped 11 of 14 shots in a 13-12 overtime win over Bucknell, including a save in the final seconds of the fourth quarter to keep the game tied.
- Cole Cashion, Midfield, Rumson, N.J., Junior, Yale Cashion collected a career-high five goals in a 15-9 win over No. 5 Harvard.
- Rory Connor, Attack, Manhasset, N.Y., Graduate Student, Georgetown Connor matched his career high with seven goals and also gathered two ground balls in a 17-7 win over Marquette.
- Caleb Fyock, Goalkeeper, Bowie, Md., Junior, Ohio State Fyock stopped a season-high 14 shots, including one with 10 seconds remaining in regulation, in the Buckeyes' 7-6 over No. 10 Johns Hopkins.
- Brady O’Kane, Midfield, West Chester, Pa., Sophomore, Brown O’Kane scored four of his five goals in the fourth quarter and overtime to help Brown overcome a seven-goal second-half deficit to defeat Dartmouth, 17-16, on Saturday. O’Kane, who also had one assist and two ground balls, scored just 31 seconds into overtime to clinch the victory.
- Ian Olenik, LSM, Windham, N.H., Senior, Providence Olenik recorded a career-high six ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 10-9 overtime win at Villanova. He caused a turnover at the end of regulation to force overtime and then picked up the ground ball off a Wildcat turnover in overtime that set up the Friars’ game-winning possession.
- Chad Palumbo, Attack, Newton, Mass., Senior, Princeton Palumbo had five goals and two assists for seven points in a 20-8 win over Penn. Four of his points (2g, 2a) came in the first half before he tallied three goals as part of a 12-goal second half.
- Nate Schwitzenberg, Defense, Arlington Heights, Ill., Junior, Notre Dame Schwitzenberg helped limit No. 1 North Carolina to a season-low five goals in a 10-5 victory. He recorded one caused turnover and one ground ball while holding Dominic Pietramala to just one goal, which came in an extra-man opportunity.
- Hunter Spiess, Defense, Greenwich, Conn., Junior, Princeton Spiess had seven ground balls and one caused turnover while holding Penn's Griffin Scane, who entered the day with 22 goals and four assists, without a point.
- Will Zylstra, Attack, Cumming, Ga., Sophomore, Mercer Zylstra led Mercer with five goals and one assist in an 18-17 win over Bellarmine that clinched the Bears’ spot in the Atlantic Sun tournament.
